2k14 will be the last significant changes adjusted from 2k13. after those years, the current gen won't get an overhaul as focus will shift to next gen. So, nba 2k14 must blow me away to conclude the current gen franchise. otherwise, if they don't bring it this year on current gen, thats it for 2k this generation. Not worth the 60 bucks. I might have to wait until the game comes out first to see the reviews, as I have a decision to make on whether or not I want to purchase current gen 2k and next gen 2k...
Agreed, but I guess 2k13 and 2k14 (current gen) are probably at the limit of what the 360 and PS4 are capable of.
It's still early and 2k's models are known to go thru sometimes drastic changes at times. I will never forget the early screens of CP3 that were released for NBA 2k8 early compared to what he looked like upon release- like night and day(I doubt that is the case here but you never know...).
You are probably right about 360/PS3 being at their limits (These systems have been out for 7+ years.). People should not really be surprised that these games look similar to the previous year. At this point no sports game is going to create a new graphics engine EVERY single year. Also 2k13 was not ugly to the point that they really needed to scrap it's graphics engine imo.
Knowing this, the game looks a little brighter and Lebron's face looks more rounded out compared to his square-jawed look in 2k13-In other words not much has changed . Hopefully they did some work on KD35 though as I thought he looked terrible in 13. While they can't do a huge overhaul on the game graphically, the least they can do is put in some better face scans overall for current gen.
Fixed the headband. (Probably a modified version of the 2K12 CF ) Didn't fix the jersey number, which IRL is slightly more to the right. Better Tats. (HD)

The Heat and Blazers (could be more) has always had Team Color 2 as white/home, Black/Away.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I think the Magic had this option as well at some point.
Common sense really. If the PC version is coming out during the period of the current systems, one would think the PC is a port of the same current systems vs a port of an unreleased, next-gen version that would come to retail around Holiday season.
Though EA has said they will have a Live demo. Even though its a launch title...
