Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 News Post

In the second episode (Part 1 is here) of the interview with Kei Masuda, Producer of PES 2014, he reveals more info about the PES Player & Team ID, along with the new Edit Mode.

The editing mode has been widened to include shorts, socks and captain armbands. There are also more layers available when editing which is great news for Option File editors.

Quote:
"Also new import features will allow you to import images for the new areas too meaning that graphics aren't just limited to a player's chest area, and allowing players to create much more realistic football kits."

Also squad customization has improved, meaning we can really customize how teams play and more importantly, to our own liking.

Absolutely love how he openly states users will be able to recreate actual kits. So different than the NFL 2K devs who stated they didn't add a fully functional edit feature to NFL 2K8 because they didn't want to upset the NFL. And so here we are years later: the company with courage and vision about to release what looks to be a landmark game; the other company and dev team long gone and done in because of their timidity and lack of vision.

Nice. The Squad Emulator function sounds really good. Almost Football Manager-like. The deeper edit mode is gonna be great also. Can't wait
