Madden NFL 25 News Post

If you can't see the video above, check it out on YouTube.

Madden NFL 25 officially debuted Madden Share, a new feature within the Madden franchise this morning. It's a sort of in-game social network, with the ability to share things like roster files, slider sets, custom playbooks, and more.

The custom playbooks in Madden Share will allow you to mix and match plays from a variety of teams -- and they can be imported into your connected franchise. Every content item uploaded will be able to be rated by users and then sorted by users as well.

The Madden Share feature will be free to use and will be available at launch with Madden NFL 25 on August 27th.

What do you think of Madden share? Will you be using it?

SOLD!!!!

Classic Rosters will be out there. That is a massive game changer....massive!!!

Couple that with shared playbooks? $$$$$

M25 is a purchase for me.

And if the NCAA 14 demo is any indication of the improved IE 2.0 and run blocking we are finally getting a signature Madden game for this gen. The AI is much improved as well on NCAA 14....fingers crissed for M25.

Took long enough. Ya think? LOL.

Glad it may finally be here.

But you can edit ratings before the season starts...I think!

I know there is 32 team offline control. There isn't 32 team online control, right?

Also, if we can't use these custom playbooks for the CPU teams, it's not nearly the feature it could be. I think I saw elsewhere that we can edit schemes.

Not once you've started a CFM... You can only edit ratings before you've started.

We can use the custom playbooks for CPU teams. Have been able to since 2011.

32 team online control was in the game last year. You need 32 people to join your league but it was available.

i can see how this can be cool for offline league. but no one else sees the possible issue this raises for online leagues? the fact that people will be creating playbooks of all the glitch plays that are screwed up and gives the offense an unfair advantage? then those playbooks will get high rating by all the cheese heads out there . putting them high on that list, if not at the top of the list, and then people using those cheating playbooks in online leagues? i jsut think its opening a huge can of worms for online leagues personally. and i dont really care that much about custom "rosters" if i can have randomized draft classes.....so am i missing something here , or is this feature mainly for the peps who like to play offline?

Mainly for people off line but if you are in a league that allows people to use glitch playbooks....u need to leave that league.

haha i love statements like these. im not in a league that allows glitch playbooks. there arent any playbooks full of glitch plays in m13, but there are a ton of glitchy plays. my point in this is , some of these cheeseheads out there ( and there are a ton ) will be making up their own custom playbooks full of glitchy plays, sharing them with communty, then when peps are always winning with them , they wil be getting alot of these votes ,thus putting them high up on the list of "best playbooks". how will you be able to tell someone is using a playbook full of glitchy plays is my point?because in m13 , u cant see what playbooks your opponent is picking in the first place, so even if people found out what playbooks was full of glitch plays, you wouldnt know for sure someone was using it. just seems like its gonna cause problems. and im not really talkin about in my league, im talking the thousands of others out there. lets try to actually figure out a solution, and not just , find another league, when that really isnt the issue in the first place.

Love it, I played a lot less Madden last year because the last thing I wanted to do when I sat down to start up a new Superstar or Franchise mode save is mess with sliders.

LET THE SHARED CHEESE BEGIN!!!!!!!!

lol this feature though has been long over due I'm glad this made it for you offline connected franchise mode players. What a way to have the most accurate roster. I think we should make a OS Roster thread for updated equipment and transactions.

We all know that the most downloaded playbook will be the one with my the most cheese plays. This feature has potential to be bad or something great.

wow finally someone with some sense sees the potential for a serious issue here as well. great for offline, possible huge headache for online. guess any SIM league will be having to cut off the option to use custom playbooks... if we even get that option..... only way to save online frans. also i love how there is no mention of sharing game videos or highlights or anything like that at all.....so i guess we got an answer there , still havent added back in the highlights part of what used to be in the game either huh. smh nice , real nice.

Slow down with the "have some sense" cracks. Last warning.

You are knocking a much wanted feature because some people could potentially use it in a cheesy way?

Also if you watched the video you would see that you can share highlights.

Is Game planning still in Madden? I couldn't find a way to adjust them in CCM for '13. If available in '14 does this mean people can share game plans with their playbooks so we can get customized AI that may finally allow CPU teams to actually reflect their real life counterparts?

Rosters will be the most shared thing, I'm betting. I don't see anyone with an unstoppable playbook wanting to share it...ever.

Aholbert, you should know some people come to just start drama without ever watching videos.

Its simple. A user uses cheese plays. They get booted out the league. Not that hard of an issue.

I'm glad big noticed this too, EA locker did same thing another brought back feature but a very welcomed one.

ok well , if it was only a small few that would use it that way, id say, ok no big deal. but have you ever tryed to play a lobby game at all? its pretty much nothing but cheese heads . its so bad anyone who wants to play a legit game of football wont play lobby games anymore.just like all 31 other members still in my current league.i mean , if someone wants it for offline, yeah thats great, no big deal. im just raising the point that this will become a problem for online leagues very easily .just as custom playbooks themselves will already an issue somewhat, but this is going to just magnify that issue 100 fold.just watch and see what im saying . after about the 4th month madden has been out.when all kinds of glitched plays will be posted on youtube and tons of people start filling up their custom books with them.then they start being voted on highly favorable by the tons of cheese players out there. of course there is a way for that to be fixed, EA make the game without glitched plays , or when glitched plays get posted , they go back and patch them to fix the issues. then , none of the above mentioned would matter, but somehow i dont ever see them doing that.i just dont think its going to be a good thing overall for online leagues, is my point, which to me is the only thing i get madden for. I never touch offline. for those who do , yeah im sure it a very cool thing i guess. But im raising a point for the online league players and commishes to take a good hard look at.
