Not only is EA ignoring the demands of their fan base but they're also detached from reality. They're the opposite of cutting-age.
And if any haters want to post on this thread bashing the equipment gripes, I have news for you: customization sells (cars, computers, clothes, accessories, etc). People want realism, they want options. The devil is and always has been in the details. Life is all about the little things. Get my drift?
EA needs to fix this and in the process their reputation.

very disappointing video. last game of this generation or not. VERY DISAPPOINTING. so much of that equipment is garbage and hasn't been worn in years. well we got rid of the ankle socks about 8 or 9 years later I hope we don't have to wait that long for some updated gear. Maybe I should send them an EASTBAY order catalog and have the boys in charge of equipment for ncaa football 14 have a look at what football players actually wear in 2013. maybe while they are at it they can take a gander at the facemasks that the guys next door at the "madden house" have to pick from in their game. ok im done. disappointing. ok now im really done, sorry.

We can't turn this into a "Ben is fat" thread because that delegitimizes our entire argument.

I've always cared about this helmet not being included in the game. However probably never as much as many of the other posters in this forum. But now that it appears they didn't add the helmet because they had RAM issues yet had enough to put in a new Kickers Helmet, I'm pretty steamed.

Life's too short.
I told ya'll what you see is what you get with EA.. Since there was no sign of the Rev 2 bar in any of the screens or videos I knew it wasn't in the game. That being said its very disappointing to finally have some decent game play and have to look at inaccurate & outdated helmets and face mask on QB's and several other players... It really hurts my experience

I'm an old grouchy man. I became old and grouchy from waiting for this generation to put the things we had last generation into the game. I don't have facebook or twitter because I'm old, but I did make a list and a thread last year about this subject. The list was of all the current players that wear that mask. I won't do any good to send them that list because of the pending lawsuit.... but I would def mention to them a few lines like these:
Nearly 60% of QB's in FBS wear the RevSpeed 2 bar.
It's close to impossible to turn on a game on Saturday and not see than facemask.
Why was such a popular facemask not added, but you put one in the community never asked for?
Try not to be condescending, rather ask a simple question. They aren't going to respond to a rant. But try to get peoples attention and make short/valid and strong points as to why it should be in the game.

It's sad tat this is what has to be done, but yes keith.... get after it. These things should be done. Sometimes in this country the only way t be heard is to rally in numbers and just complain loudly. Sucks they just can't add equipment via DLC or patch.
