NCAA Football 14 News Post



The NCAA Football 14 demo will be arriving next Tuesday on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No other details are available as to which teams will be playable and such, but our first look of the Infinity Engine 2.0 as well as the enhanced running game features in EA Football appears to be just under a week away.

UPDATE: The NCAA Football 14 demo arrives on Tuesday, June 18th. Full game, 3 minute quarters, Skills Trainer and new Coordinator Cam. Full details will be released on Monday.

Also, the addition of triple speed options (inside pitch and outside pitch) is amazing. Makes you pay a lot of attention to the play, first seeing if you should pitch it inside, and, if you keep it, if you should pitch it outside.
They really worked on the option game this year.

Being a run heavy guy I noticed a lot of things changed. Cuts are easier out of the backfield, either running any kind of Option or out of the Pistol. Option plays are easier to execute. The defense doesn't pickup the option as much if you don't run it often. Unlike last year where I ran a true option play such as "Speed Option" the CPU had it read every time, and I only ran it about 5-7 times in a 5 min, 4 quarter game. Seems like they fixed a lot of on-field game play, option offense, interception problems, and the suction problem seems to be gone as well, at least i noticed it had been cleaned up when I took a kickoff back for a touchdown. I'm really excited to see the final product.
