BOBROVSKY, you're a loose cannon!

The Irony of the NHL cover man playing in the only major league not in NHL 14 would be too good to pass up! Vote Bobrovsky!

I can see the headline. "Sergei Bobrovsky leaves for KHL while headlining NHL 14 cover"

Ugh, what a boring cover athlete to choose from.

I really wish EA had just picked Tavares or some other real known name that hasn't been on the cover before.

I'm honestly hoping Brodeur retires so then their cover athlete is someone not even playing anymore. Which honestly I wouldn't truly mind because it's a legend but still.

Bobrovsky deserves it the most.

Maybe I'm out of the loop, but can someone explain to me why Bobrovsky seems to be such a favourite? Especially against a champion of the game in Martin Brodeur

Being a Preds fan, I'm sure the memory of the season's final game may still be fresh for you. The performance Bobs gave against Nashville that night was typical of his play the last 3/4 of the season. He was a true standout.

Practically almost led the Jackets into a playoff birth.

I know he had a great season but thought there may have been a back story to go with it making him a cult hero.
To me the cover athlete should be someone who has proven themselves for multiple seasons, so I'll be going Brodeur.
Although I'd understand if it was Bobrovsky who won. Bob is hot right now.

No disrespect to the Blue Jackets and Devils fans out there, you guys are great, but this pretty much means it'll be the last time the NHL cover is voted on by the online community.

Bobrovsky, who's a great feel good story but on a team that never makes the playoffs and a 42 year old guy who's WAY passed his prime is awful news to EA Sports trying to sell their product.

Personally, I wouldn't care if Bill Daly was on the cover. I still buy the game every year. I'm a big sucker... I mean, a true EA Sports fan!

Dang it I should have voted earlier...
