Well LSU go very well go 0-5 in conference play. Losses to Uga, Uf, ole miss, are feasible and Auburn and Miss st could pull off an upset. Now Alabama lossing to either V tech or csu now thats just crazy talk.

Alabama at 7th in the nation? How unrealistic is that? They'd NEVER allow Alabama to drop that far in the polls after only 1 loss!!!!!

for real though. That's what pissed me off the most in that screen.

If Auburn is 7-2 I would be thrilled.

Only on the video game will that come close to reality. Tough road back to the top for Auburn I'm afraid as the SEC is vicious.

To be completely fair, nobody said this screen is from year 1 in Dynasty. For all we know, it could be 6 or 7 years down the road.

Looks like a decent new addition. Like others have said, little things like this go a long way.

Also, video games.

Considering UGA and UF both loss just as much as us on defense, those aren't for sure loses. And just because Ole Miss had one good recruiting class does not mean they are gonna beat LSU. The reason that game was so close last year was because after the Bama game, our entire defense was just counting down days to the draft. And L. O. L. at Moo St or Auburn upsetting LSU

He said it was feasible, which it is, especially as UF beat LSU last year. And they could pull an upset. Didn't Ole Miss beat LSU a couple years back because Les Miles is a moron and can't manage a clock? Ole Miss also almost beat LSU in Death Valley. (And yeah sure, they were counting down to the draft, whatever) I'm pretty sure no one saw Baylor beating (destroying, really) KSU, A&M beating Bama, etc. No one saw USC going 7-6. So it's certainly possible.

Also, it's a video game.

It's a video game but it's also a sim based video game. Wonky sims can really throw off the immersion.

I don't wanna pop in NBA 2k, sim the season and the Heat miss the playoffs with a 20-62 record with "oh it's just a video game" as the justification.

Too often last year, there were weird sim results of games. I'm hoping the team is actively trying to make sim results better and not just sitting on their hands because "its just a game." Realistic stats, scores, and records go a loooong way towards the game being and staying fun.

Great looking graphic, hope we see more like this with great commentary to go along with it.

I think the dev team could really maximize the space being used by getting rid of the cutscenes. Definitely not needed. I would suggest simply panning the camera (broadcast style) and catching the actual player models celebrating and interacting after the play.

They actually did that in NCAA 2008 and it gave the game more of an authentic broadcast feel. I think that would be better than taking up disc space/ram or whatever creating all of those individual cutscenes.

Oh yeah. It's a video game. But anyone wanna take bets LSU won't be 0-5 in conference. No. EA does still need to manage this. My championship games in Dynasty were always ridiculous which is fine in year 10 but I'm sorry Fresno or SMU or Tulsa in my BCS title every time is stupid. C'mon now

# 37 DeionAfterPicks @ 05/12/13 09:13 AM
Of course this also has to do with the poll logic and BCS logic being not...logical.

Yeah it looks better/more broadcast than the cutscenes. Next gen I hope they just do away with cutscenes and just do a better job on animating the players celebrations after a play in real time. Get rid of that bumping into each other nonsense.

Exactly. Much more authentic than the cutscenes.

I'm definitely not expecting 7-2. I'm hoping for 7 or 8 wins for the season. That would be a good first step for Malzahn's first year.
