& look at a guy like Jamal Crawford who is neck & neck with JR for 6th man of the yr. He didnt get raised (fine were he is) but shoots the ball at a much better %.

JR Smith, the guy who can't shoot in the same place twice, and also got dunked on by MIKE MILLER of all people, has received UNNEEDED upgrades.

This is stupid.

Shumpert should have went down not up (81) im no roster god by any means but he clearly isnt the same player as last yr.

The 6th man race isn't neck and neck at all.

JR leads Crawford in points/assists/rebounds/PER and every other stat

Crawford's FG% is higher only because his usage is a lot less, JR is our no. 2 scoring option and NY leans on him a lot.

He's a lock for the award at this point.

Last 10 games JR is averaging 23/6 on 46% including three 30+ point games and he's actually a damn good perimeter defender averaging a steal a game.

Lmao @ JR being a good perimeter defender. Im a a Bucks fan & both Jennings & Ellis get about 2steals a game. They are not good perimeter defenders.

Lol, both have a usage% of 26, so what the hell are you talking about? Crawford is simply more efficient. I'm not saying Smith is a bad player, but it's complete nonsense that Crawford's usage is "a lot less"...

2k has pissed me off for the last time how is it that asik is the 4th lowest rated center among starting centers look at for every team he avgs a double double and 2nd in the league in rebs with only the raptors, bobcats, hornets having a starting center rated lower and harden should clearly be rated in the 90's no one on the rockets has been touched and they are the 7th seed in the west yet they were picked to be the 3rd worst team in the league and league the league in scoring D'mo and greg smith should've been upgraded out of the 50's by now evry team has a least 2 guys or more who should get upgraded and we get 2 magic players and jr smith at a 84, really lol please give me a job at 2k i could do better roster updates in 2 days than they do in a month. what a joke

I am trying to understand how Al Horford is the highest player in the MY TEAM mode but you cant change his rating.... Eff the Knicks. It seems like a Knicks only update.

I know Knicks stans wil disagree, but Hayward is actually not worse than Smith if you look at his contributions. The only advantage of J.R is rebounding, but Hayward is more efficient offensively, at least equal in terms of passing and fouls not as much.
Smith takes 15 shots per game to give you 17.5 ppg, Hayward only need 10 shots for 14.5 ppg.

Now I'm not sure about defense, so to people who watch the Jazz more often than I do...how good is Hayward defensively?
Hayward is Utah's best perimeter defender, no doubt.

I have a pretty strong doubt. DeMarre Carroll is at least slightly better in every advanced defensive metric available. Hayward's a close number 2 though.

I think the most disappointing thing about 2k rosters is the missing players. It almost seems like a respect issue - idk.

It's the gift and the curse of online gaming.

Back in the day...we used to just sign the best or most similar free agents available to replace injured/missing players, but with unalterable online rosters, these players have become essential for certain teams/modes.

At this point, all the missing guys are either on non-playoff teams, or probably won't make the active playoff rosters of the good teams, so I doubt we'll see any more of them added. There's at least some small chance that the Insider has access to that type of information.

I don't know about Carroll. He's a great hustler and defender, but in crunch time, Hayward is the guy guarding the Kobe's and Durant's.

Well, if Hayward always gets the tougher assignment, that would certainly explain his slightly worse numbers.

How to download the roster?

# 57 Lu35_20 @ 04/04/13 06:18 PM
No Kent Bazemore...

Why didn't they take out lebron, dwade, chalmers, and ray Allen in this update? I know lebron and Allen are coming back tonight, but that is besides the point. They've been injured for more than a week or a week and a half by the time this update came out

If Gordon called was so good he would be winning his team games....

What are you talking about?

He started the game off against New Orleans shooting 1-8 in the first half with 3 points.

He finished the game shooting 9-18 with 23 points. And guess what? Utah won.

In case you didn't know, Utah has won 6 of their last 7.
