Great intro, still don't understand why Harper's there and Trout isn't but none-the-less, love the animated presentation. A lot better than last years, always being reminded of the worst season ever...

Yeah that's Capone. Not sure why you're comparing Braun getting off with a tampered piss test to Capone avoiding murder, extortion, bootlegging, and everything else he got away with. Sure he got away on tons of technicalities, but eventually he got caught. Eventually Ryan Braun will get in trouble, but for now he hasn't, wasn't suspended, and was in the cover vote, hence why he was in the intro. I'm not saying Braun is innocent, I was just telling you why Melky wasn't in the cover vote.

Maybe because he didn't want to be associated with Braun?

Awesome intro video. MLB 06 was the last show game to have actual player models from the game. I loved the video from last year too because of the 2 epic collapses it was awesome, but this one has a different flavour to it which I like aswell.

Would this video have been made before the actual vote for the cover? Kinda looks like they though Miggy was going to win..other wise they might have showcased the winner a little more?

Last year's intro got me hype to play game. Being a Braves fan, seeing how we lost to the Phillies. The song " Learn my lesson" was cool intro song as well.

By the that Madden 13 Ray Lewis intro gets you pumped as well.

My team wasn't even involved and I though it was epic as hell. I wanted to jump into the batter's box after watching that.

Nope... VERY good trailer for MLB 13, but MLB 08 The Show IMHO has the best into out of the whole series. This one comes in at second but not far behind '08

personally i cant stand it. i think its the worst opener they done since ive been getting the game. last years was my all time fav. i like it when they show real footage of the previous year. this years was a big let down for me, only thing i liked was the song they used. plus anything that features buster pocket full of posey just makes me sick. hate that guy
