Yeah I'm a bit confused by some of these posts. While the video was highlighting the playoff mode, those clips could have been from the mode or a franchise game. It doesn't matter.

OK, let me see if I can clarify this.

The video is highlighting the playoff mode.
YES, the Mode and the end of the season are the same, but for the first time in MLBTS history, we can now play the postseason whenever we want.
And thats what the video is showing.... The Mode!

With that, they are showing that the mode isnt just 10 matchups, its actual post season flair with rally towels and crowd excitement just as it is when you play it at the end of a Franchise or RTTS.

Does that explain it?

Yes I understand perfectly what the mode is and what the video is showing. I guess I meant I'm confused by all these posts of trying to restate and clarify the same thing.

All this needs to stop IMO. Like I said before, we should be trying to point out other "hidden" gems in the videos, including the one at the start of this thread. I'm STILL trying to find out what thaSlab is keeping from us all...

Everytime I check this thread, though, seems like it is nothing but back and forth bickering. Pretty lame.

Actually, thats exactly what we are talking about. The P-O Mode in this video.

I think people are just dying to see/hear the playoff atmosphere, and now they're worried that it's not that different (after a couple of quick cuts). Hopefully, they'll release a video highlighting the playoff atmosphere soon.

Does the secret have to do with players no longer stutter-stepping around the bases on homerun trots?

Wow, can't wait. I have every MLB The Show from 07 - 12 on the PS3 and all the others that were for PS2 only and this one looks like it is going to be the best one yet!...Congrats Sony SD on this awsome game...Looks like MLB13 is going to be the best "Sports Game of The Year" for 2013!!
