A new roster update is available now for NBA JAM: On Fire Edition. For some strange reason, Jason Kidd is on the New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks.

VERY surprised to see this. Pretty pleased, still 6-7 key players missing.

Paul George
Greg Monroe
Tyson Chandler
Mike Conley Jr.
Jamal Crawford
Paul Millsap
Kenneth Faried
Steve Novak (they added Ryan Anderson, why not?)

actually...if they're gonna just do it like that why not add an option for us to make roster changes ourselves?

Lakers are just too good now. Bryant and Howard together in this game makes for insane results.

god forbid a company lets us use custom rosters to play unranked games with friends etc. doing so would keep the replay value alive.

Hi Guys Check this MMO Sport game out its called Freestyle Street Basketball its one of the best games I've ever played. You can level up, customize your clothes, the gameplay is amazing and its fast pace. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do if you guys are into nba jam I know you guys would like this game as well. sorry for being off topic on this thread

Sorry to bump a really old thread, but out of the blue I got an update on XBOX One for NBA Jam: On Fire edition, anybody know why?

I was wondering what that update was as well. I was hoping for a roster update, but loaded up and rosters were the same.

XBX enhancements perhaps? I dunno, I'm on PlayStation.

Oh and BTW, OFE is still the best arcade hoops game out there.

Game updates are stored in the system cache so if you haven't played in a long time and have played many other games in the meantime, a particular game's title update may have been "bumped" from the cache. In that case, it gets redownloaded when you start the game up again. This might be what happened to you.

I am revisiting this with my son who has become interested in basketball over the last year. Unfortunately, the updates are no longer available through PSN. Reading online, it seems that the last one added rookies like Anthony Davis to the roster. Does anyone have an offline file they can share to add these new players to our game? Looked everywhere online and figured it would be here if anywhere. Thanks!
