This game looks more beautiful then last year, I swear if the game gods came from above today and said "son you have only one game you can play the rest of you life" Before he could finish I would Reply "MLB THE SHOW BUDDY"

You think the defense alignment screen is better then in MLB 12 The Show? I am trying to decide if I like it better or not

yep, new and fresh is always good IMO. Now all they need is some defensive numbers to go with those stats or a single player profile picture to popup and highlight

You talking about the defensive line-up? Because I did not see the new defensive alignment screen in there?

not the end of the world for me but I prefer previous one. But who knows, maybe this one is more in line with actual real broadcast. If it's the case then I'm endorsing it :-)

I really like the new defensive lineup overlay. It kinda looks like an ESPN one.

I too like the new defensive alignment screen. Wish the video would have been longer to show what the Vita version looked like. From what I saw briefly the batting camera looked new.

That's what I was thinking also and is why I now like it

Anything added to MLB The Show that makes it look much more like a real TV Baseball broadcast is just fine by me

Good looking foul ball down the right field line that falls in. Good realism to that one.

Nice touch of the halo on the Los Angeles Angels hat.

Jered Weaver's delivery looks almost perfect, i can't wait to see how Aroldis Chapman looks in this game

Love the fact Weaver looks way thinner now hell yeah

Well, I gotta say... I sure wish/hope that the scorebug is present in ALL screens, it's much too sexy not to be seen on every cut scene haha. It shouldnt just be available on the delivery to homeplate angle. In real life, it's almost always still can be seen when other cameras cut away. Anyone agree? Not a huge deal, but it would make it look better and not like totally separate new cut scene.

- Liked the new defensive screen. It may not appear as stylish, advanced, or taking advantage of what a video game can offer, but it looks authentic. I like authenticity.

- The foul ball down the right field line wouldn't ever fall in last year. Glad to see these new ball/hit physics at work.

- RTP is getting a bit more of a face lift, as it cut away from Olt's close-up as he was still taking some practice swings and walking into the box. Nice little variation there.

Wow, some mind boggling numbers from Jered Weaver there.

I make that only 1 hit per 3.85 innings, impressive

And only 3 k's per 9 and 1 BB per 12 IP.
You must have a good set of eyes to catch that!

And an average of 18.86 innings pitched a game! Talk about being a workhorse! lol

Yep, and it was very predictable too... the ball would hang up (for what seemed like an eternity) and the RF or 1B would make a looooooong run under it to make the catch! As you can tell, the fielders are a lot less "psychic" this year too.

I agree. Glad the "psychic" abilities are gone. Nothing worse than being robbed of a base hit when a 3rd or 1st baseman dive for a groundball before you even hit it.
