From observing this pic, it seems that the players to field scaling's been modified. The players look smaller to the field...which is GREAT imo..****ssell, can you confirm this? thanks

Pumped about the franchise mode, but man I hope the newspapers are vamoosed and replaced with something relevant to this millennium.
twitter. mlb.com type stuff. anything

But the Show Live, if it is what we all think it will be, an MLB Today type thing, one things for sure, the stat overlays should see a nice bump up.

Seems like the most logical path since other sports games like Madden and NBA 2K have implemented twitter succesfully. It definitely adds more content in between games and they are always interesting to look at. Twitter has basically become this era's newspaper (especially for sports) so it seems like the perfect replacement.

I wonder if this would also get rid of alerts in franchise. Alerts about transactions/rumors/injuries could just as easily be turned into a simple tweet from someone like Olney or Rosenthal.

You have to look at the screen from an angle and shake your head real fast!

On the subject of Ramone's keyboard, that thing is gangsta! LOL

Ohh it's that time of year again ...

Just thinking out loud here, doesn't necessarily have to do with official announcements or anything, but do you guys think it would work to have the RTTS Outfielders look into the sky for fly balls and have to track them down yourself? I only ask because sometimes it seems boring just running to the spot that the game tells you the ball will land...i feel like more of a robot than an actual outfielder having to judge balls, etc

This is seriously the best time of year around these parts.

Well, aside from when the game actually releases.
