The Forza Horizon Rally expansion pack, which was announced in Mid-October, arrives on December 18 for 1600 MSP on Xbox Live Marketplace.

More than just a simple car pack, the Rally expansion pack adds co-drivers shouting out rally calls, along with new online events, stages and cars.

Quote:
Forza Horizon Rally packs new point-to-point rally stages that span the game's fictional Colorado setting. The stages are "full of severe and sudden terrain changes, including steep banks, narrow tree-lined cuts, big bumps, jumps, drops and natural hazards like rocks and trees," says Horizon design director Ralph Fulton. "In addition, we've got more road surfaces than ever before, on-track vegetation with new physics properties, and new particle and sound effects."

Cars included:
  • '92 Celica
  • 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR
  • 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
  • 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth
  • 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale
  • 2003 Ford Focus SVT (For Season Pass owners)

I played through the single player already, very short. Courses are a bit of a let down. Doesn't stand up against the Dirt games at all. Online is ok but again if you want to race rally races play Dirt 2 or 3. 1600 MS points is way to much. Probably worth about 800 points. I can't recommend it, just not enough bang for you buck.

Also the write up above is complete BS. There are no severe terrain changes. It switches from dirt to pavement that's it.

I CAN attest...

Dirt 3 to me is still the best in this regard
