Like I said in another thread, I'm a little surprised they are adding ODU. Seeing as they only play 4 FBS teams next year (all on the road). But I'm happy that they will be in the game!

Here we go!!!

It's going to be an SEC team or the National Champ, which means 116+ plus schools have already been excluded no matter how many vote.

Also I don't get this because folks have been able to make "Their Own" covers for going on what 4+ yrs now!!!

Wow, kicking off the '14 campaign pretty early. I hope EA knows it's going to take a heck of a lot to impress me this year. Let's see whatcha got!

It's already time?

Wow, Old Dominion is in the 400 range. As I write this, that's pretty high up. Far better than a lot of AQ schools (good ones like Oklahoma even) and defnitely better than any of the other C-USA schools I saw.

Kind of funny that they have the locations of Oregon & Oregon State mixed up.

# 8 Hey_Rebby @ 12/14/12 05:51 PM
They also have Navy in Colorado Springs instead of Air Force in the first view of the state of Colorado.

Man, I hope they fix the visuals. NCAA 11 was gorgeous but the last two games looked so pixelated. Hate to point out a small factor but with all the cool uniforms added, they don't look as good as NCAA 11.

Put in Madden 13's engine, I will be good to go...

The pick is easy...Manti Teo...Or, grace the cover with both Bama and ND with an action pick from the BCS title game...

I think you have the wrong guy. I see what I like about a game, read the reviews, and then make my decision. I'm not loyal to EA, or either of their football series. It may be a fact for some people, but not myself.

I have the ability to make logical choices when it comes to spending my money, and I know others here at OS do as well, so there is no need to insult our intelligence by suggesting that we will be buying the game despite what comes out of our mouths. That's not the way it is for me.

EA needs to step it up and make a great college football game.
That's exactly how I feel. For some reason, however, I feel oddly confident that '14 is going to be solid. It will be the second year for the physics engine, it will be the second year with updated audio, and Coaching Carousel is due for an update as well.

I just think '14 is going to pull an '06 and be the best NCAA game on this generation of consoles.

Funny thing is, Texas A&M is getting a lot of votes, probably people hoping to get Manziel on there even though he cant be.

Hype train started already in December ?

Anyway, want to know what I saw in that video ? PHYSICS ! Look how that guy leg bends over from momentum when he dives for the ball into the end zone. So IF and I am saying a big IF they got it working correctly this early in the year, there is hope they have more time to focus on GAME PLAY AI. I repeat GAME PLAY AI. The AI the past few years have really killed my overall enjoyment of this series.

Well this seems fair. I don't understand how teams like Oregon State can compete with Michigan and Ohio State and all the SEC schools. Not mention Notre Dame after this year. We have no chance in hell. It needs to be quality based of some sorts. Not just pure population because they could have done that on their own.

And if they pull a Madden 12, we get a player on a team that was average and it ruins the exposure for the game.... At least they aren't centering the cover around a feature this year. I thought they needed to go back to that way, but after seeing what happens when it has a feature that nobody wants, it's disappointing.

Love the hype train is starting early though.

Yea, thats what I was looking at. So physics 2.0 has tentatively made it into NCAA 14. That is good. I dont know, but I have the feeling that we're going to get some great football gaming this year. Combine that with Xans editor and all should be well.
