*Notes for new update:

It looks like we have all the official jerseys that are worn this year after the insider added the Miami White Hot jerseys.. He added 7 much needed players in this update, but still left off a total of 13 players (including one guaranteed contract). Impressively enough though, he has used this list as a guide of sorts as many players positions were changed along with some needed ratings tweaks. The insider still missed a lot of player ratings needs but this was a solid update overall when comparing to past updates.

Great post! I agree with most of your suggestions.

There are a few players you listed as overrated, however, that I don't necessarily agree with. There are players/teams that play better than the numbers they put up and I would say that applies to the Spurs more than anyone. I wouldn't decrease any of their players (and I'm not a Spurs fan). I would also say that Rasheed actually deserves an increase, not a decrease. I would also keep these players as they are: T.Ross, J.Hill, K.Perkins, L.Scola, T.Taylor, C.Duhon.

The rest of your list is spot on, though!

Does Iggy still have 85 3pt rating? Hope not.

Can anyone post specific decreases/increases that the listed players need? Like 3pt rating, ball handling, rebounding, etc.

Nick Collison - Thunder: His defensive awareness is in the 40s.. he's one of the smartest big men in the league. Should be in the 80s

Thabo Sefolosha - Thunder: His 3 point shooting is pretty underrated, its in the 70s, should at least be 84

Kevin Martin: 3 point shot is 82 I believe, he's shooting 48% on 5 attempts..JR smith got a 87 on the update this morning, and he's shooting a lower percentage on less attempts. Martin should have a 89-90 from 3 and 90-92% from FT line

I remember the NBA Live game when Manu Ginobili was first put in. He was announced as Emmanuel (real name) Gino-bee-lee. And he was #6 and right handed lol. So it's somewhat refreshing to see Nando de Colo added the right way finally, even though he looks more like Cory Joseph in the vid, they at least got the rating about right. We'll see how he looks and plays in game. He should be a great passer and I hope he gets a better sig shot than Neal.

And James Anderson was added, nice.

Why does Jordan have a black tongue? 2K should be embarrassed that their flagship sports title languishes like this when it comes to updates. Like the black sock glitch from 2K11. That took them about four months to fix, iirc. Completely unacceptable. I think I'm done with this game after this year for this reason alone. If they don't care enough to fix glitches with their games in a timely manner, then I don't care enough to buy those games.

I'm soooooo glad that you're not doing the ratings update for the Pacers. You want to decrease four bench players (Green and Augustine I agree with), increase one bench, BUT ignore what Roy Hibbert, Paul George, and David West are doing for the Pacers????

Roy Hibbert needs a BLK, LPD, and DAWR badly. David West is arguably the BEST PF in the Eastern Conference (check the stats). Paul George is all-around BETTER player than JR Smith.

The Pacers are long overdue for some increases, but that's alright though...the 2K Insider will continue to ignore this team like he normally does until it's time to decrease someone for poor performances.

Thabo shot 43% from three last year on a low attempts so I can see how they are scared to give him a high number. J.R. Smith has a 87 3pt rating with about the same attempts as Thabo. So something is not right there. Martin needs to get a boost in 3pt shooting as well he has a 82.

The Duncans of the game will never get a real big boost overall unless he starts making 3pt's or something else. He is very consistent in the game and is pretty much matched out to his real abilities.

Eric Bledsoe needs a sig skill or something maybe scapper, or active hands. He is doing a lot of things that don't always show up in stats

Osik for the Rockets probably needs to be close to max for DREB they gave him a 76 rating. He has the 5th highest defensive rebound rate in the NBA for players playing 15 plus minutes and that says alot. He was good last year in rebounding but now that he gets his minutes he is really boarding well 12.3 rpg
To sum it up : Kevin martin (3 point shooting, free throw shooting)& Thabo Sefolosha (3 point shooting) & Asik(rebounding) & Bledsoe(plain underrated)

Hey can anybody recommend me a good roster for xbox 360 because these ¨official updates¨ arent really helping, and there are so many rosters out there that i am not sure about which are actually any good. Thanks.

It's pretty crazy to say, because he is so dominant offensively in this game, but LeBron's rebounding ratings are grossly underrated. I'm guessing 2K is trying to avoid his OVR hitting 99, but his career numbers support a higher rebound rating, and his season rebound numbers are even better.
