On a serious note, I do know you have been heard, but I don't know what changes would entail or where they live on a priority list. I'll ask.
Is the complaint about the grass that it's too green or not green enough? I don't even know any more. I say make it blue like Bronco Stadium.

Spoiler

I'm starting to warm up to your argument though, in fact, I think in the case of Comerica Park we demand they add the discolored squares in the outfield grass that stem from the concert stage during the offseason.

And if you really want to get technical... The Grass Is Always Greener.

* one-pitch mode. speeds things up greatly. OOTP has it. It doesn't affect the game negatively in any way

* glitches in team schedules, causing system to lock up or franchises to have to be restarted

* lack of variety in hits. There should be obvious hooks and slices that aren't just foul balls

* improvement in the animations library. the same ol' characters walking up and down the stairs in robotic fashion really took a lot from the feel of the gam.

* realistic player injuries (injury animation, frequency of injuries according to type, length of injury)

* actual players in the system, not fake minor league player names.

I'm noticing that game experiences are so different. I turn the CPU Pickoff Attempt Slider DOWN because they throw over all the time!! It's annoying to get through an at bat with a fast runner on base. Also, they steal all the time against me. I would more complain about not hurrying to throw a pitch out because I can't throw a base stealer out.

About injuries... the biggest one, to me, is when a pitcher gets hit by a batted ball. There's a 5 minute speech in the game about whether or not he is hurt... but he's NEVER hurt. Just take the 5 minute speech out unless he's actually going to have a chance to be hurt. lol (Just take the speech out because i'd rather that change be made other than changing it to too many injuries.)

I love what The Show offers. It's not like I am NOT going to buy the game. But at 60 that does demand a lot from people. They said they would work on the grass and ambiance but I fully respect if they were too busy. If they can however get some dude to go over the color matching of the fields for two weeks I would plop down 60 in a second. If not I can wait I guess. (cries)

Also, thanks for the list. No idea so many used Kentucky Blue Grass.

I've asked for this for a couple years now. Apparently they can't/won't/aren't able to do it....so they say.

Yep, it's a conspiracy so only they can keep their files from year to year

If they could implement it without messing everything else up they would.

I believe it is something they are open to but have not figured a way where it would not cause a train wreck when loaded up into the current game. The littlest misalignment throws the game way off. Heck, sometimes rosters released for the current version of the game throw it off and freeze. Just imagine what a previous version's save file would do.

Yep, the files are so complex that as Knight was saying, simply putting in the team abbreviation into player cards is not so simple. We can hope that the move to the ps4 might make it easier, but I wouldn't be so certain.

Considering portions of the game will be rewritten for the PS4, maybe it could be developed with that goal in mind of having the ability to continue your current franchise into the newest version. I can ask at CD and see if there is any info to share.

If memory serves, and sometimes it doesn't, I think they would like to do something like this but haven't been able to make it work. I know they tried to get the import player feature to work with existing franchises when they rolled it out 2 years ago and it didn't go well. So my guess is this is something they would do if they could. Just my opinion though.

I think what makes it tough is when they make changes to franchise. Let's say they added a statistic that wasn't there in previous years, like uhh... like ground outs and fly outs, I don't know (that might be in there for all I know). What happens when they computer GO/AO ratios, and previous years don't have them tracked for players, they divide by zero, and the game crashes? Stuff like that.

I think the easiest way for them to do that is if they assure themselves that they don't touch any of the franchise code for two years straight. Even then it still might be a hassle.

Definitely the biggest requested feature for all sports games, though. It would make buying the next season's game easier, knowing I can stick with my same franchise.

I hate to bring the grass/dirt argument back up but I look at the dirt more from how it affects the uniforms. The players look like old black & white clips with dust all over them after dives/slides. Players nowadays look like they've been painted almost after they slide or dive. That's more important to me than just the color of the grass. The dirt color and how it looks on uniforms is more pressing. That could also be why they haven't gotten to it. Might not be hard to change the colors but might take more work to adjust uniform degradation to match.

Nice! I think it means that RTTS and franchise transfer, full collision detection, and the Braves Chick-fil-A cow will be in... right?

They've already replaced their cover photo on The Show's Facebook page. Can't see much but with some Photoshop adjustments maybe if you have really good eyes...

That is an actual pic of Yankee Stadium. Looks like CC on the Jumbo-tron. I am sure it really does not mean anything specific other then it being baseball.
