NBA 2K13 News Post

According to the NBA2KInsider, we should see another NBA 2K13 roster update on Saturday morning.

Ronnie mentioned he's been keeping an eye on this thread. Lets hope it's a good one.

On a more serious note. While I am somewhat annoyed/mytified that the rosters are never as accurate as they advertise (Jamaal Tinsley last year just never seemed to make it), I am more annoyed that they never provide an explanation.

For example, I know that for MLB2K they cannot add a player unless he plays a game and is admitted into the players union. While I know that for players to be added they must be signed to guarenteed contracts (no 10-day players), I think consumers would be more understanding if 2K (Ronnie, the Insider, or whoever) would explain how players are added and how long it takes. Nothing too in-depth required, but at least a response to the hordes of threads discussing this. Right now it appears more as if they are ignoring them by not responding (Ronnie says they monitor the boards).

If this has already been done, could someone please forward me the link or post the reasons; without flamming 2K please.

I care more about just having the actual players on the roster then accessory edits. I can do that myself. Just give us the players at the very least...and I know the very least is exactly what 2k will do when it comes to rosters

I hope Dwight Howard goes back down to what we all (other than Laker fans) said he was in the first place; a 90ish overall player. They made him out to be the second best player in the league

Also, can you guys raise Valencious (or whatever it is lol), Kyle Lowry, and Derozan? Toronto gets disrepected every year

Hopefully they improve Jonas Valanciunas. 59 rating for a guy who after the first few games of the season, is averaging 8 points and 5 rebounds per only 20 mins played. Top 10 in PPG,RPG,BPG per 48 mins, among all rookies.

Not to mention, one of only 2 rookies so far, to have a double double.

DeRozans doing much better too. In top 10 of all SG in ppg,top 15 SG in fg%,top 10 SG in rpg

Here's an idea, SteveOS mentioned Ronnie was going to be keeping an eye on this thread, so instead of speculating what we will/won't get, why don't we attempt to contribute to the update?

You must be a Raptors fan I'm sure. No disrespect to your team but lets not get overly excited about DeRozan just yet. You should bump up those ratings yourself too if you really feel they should be higher. He's a 77 in my game, I feel he deserves that much. Lowry is fine at an 82 as well, I mean if Lowry should be an 85 as you say then Kyrie should be an 88 lol. I just believe in people actually doing something first before their rating is dramatically increased if that makes sense? I dig the Raps this year though, good luck this season!

lol I soon as I post I see someone pretty much posted what I said while I was typing...

so I cut out the players I did mention and now I'll just leave the second half of my original post...

and I don't know if they can fix the Spurs alternate and I hate to be "that guy" but the Spurs alternate is one of the more simple jerseys BIG logo, numbers and straight lines down the side. So I don't see why they got that little patch logo in the corner of the jersey.

Noah deserves a bump, and some defensive attributes for the team as a whole.

Ronnie is really monitoring this thread?

Please don't forget to add Greg Smith and Scott Machado of the Houston Rockets. I've been waiting since release day to start my association and I'm hoping I can do it Saturday with my complete rosters.

I just wish they would hurry up and fix everything that's wrong with MyCareer first tbh, roster updates can wait.

They should fix ALL problems for sure, but please get the rosters straight first. I don't want to start an Association or MyCareer until I have something close to an accurate roster reflecting the real NBA.

They need to add E'Twaun Moore to the Magic (He started 3 games and did sign a guaranteed contract, one year and then a team option).

Also need to add DeQuan Jones to the Magic (He was a starting SF for 2 out of our 4 games)

# 35 The_Wise_One @ 11/09/12 01:54 AM
Harden better be a 99 or I'll stop playing 2k haha

DeRozan is a 77? I thought he was 74(decreased from a 75 for some reason...). He should be in high 70s though. 2K really needs to define player ratings. Stars in the 90s, top starters in high 80s, guys who are starters in general in low 80s, bench guys in the 70s.

Like I said, DeRozan so far this year is doing much better than majority of SG in the league, so the fact that he's rated like a bench player, is something that sucks.

Alright Ronnie2K, since you are reading...

nba.com has everything 2KInsider needs to, you know, actually do his job. As long as he knows how to read, tell him to have at it.

I am not making any lists of who is on NBA teams for a guy, or guys, getting paid to be that silly excuse of a NBA Insider. I'd make a list for an elementary school kid if they wanted to learn the game, but then again, I could probably tell them to check it online and they'd be able to figure it out.

This is beyond ridiculous that they want us to make lists for roster changes. All it does is admit that the person in charge of rosters is not fit to be in control of rosters. Completely unprofessional.
