New Houston Astros Uniforms Shown in MLB 13 The Show

The Houston Astros revealed their new uniforms at Minute Maid Park, a few days ago.

Check out the new uniforms in MLB 13 The Show. They include the standard home and away jerseys, as well as alternates they will use on all home games played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

They showed a video at the Astros' unveiling event last night. It was done using MLB The Show. I posted a screenshot from their livestream in the Astros uniform thread.

I haven't seen that video anywhere else, but there is a shaky-cam version on YouTube from the actual event.

Well the one new thing I see (besides the Astros' unis lol) is that there looks to be another new cleat design, the three dudes in the middle are wearing them.

I really hope they do a good job with uni's next year. This year... the Rockies alternate with the black vests and purple undershirt??? they never wear purple undershirts and they hardly ever wear the purple hats. They got it right in mlb 11: black vests, black undershirt, black hat... it was a disappointment to see those purple undershirt uni's this year.

This is probably off topic, I just needed to vent about that....

Good. Those retro-look unis are much better than what the Astros have been wearing.

I just hope they don't remove the classic rainbow unis from the 70s/80s.

From that screenshot, how are you able to tell? I'm even surprised you have all of the cleat designs in your head. I can't even keep track of that stuff.

I like these uniforms.

OK there's definitely two new cleat designs in the video, the pair Altuve's wearing look reebok-ish and the pair Wallace is wearing look adidas-ish... The undershirts also have nike logos on them, don't know if that means anything though.

Good eye... that has never been there before, and either means there will be some form of Nike sponsoring in MLB 13 the show, or as Knight said, this was made specifically for the Astro's event and doesn't necessarily mean we will get that Nike logo in the game.

Even if this is "MLB 13 the show", it would of had to been made early enough that we probably won't notice much difference between it and MLB 12 the show.

Eh. They look like the Tigers now (and the Mets, as somebody else mentioned). The red and black they had been wearing was pretty unique.

Also, that Sunday jersey looks too Spring Training-ish.

I'm guessing the game will have the ads (12-16 small signs attached together to form one big square) that cover the train in left field now. The stadium may not even keep the train next year...****mor I've heard.
