NBA 2K13 News Post

The LeBron X is available now in NBA 2K13. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue when editing them. Not everything on the shoe can be changed.

Can't edit the colors for the airbag, midsole (only a couple of them work), laces, bootie and tongue (only a couple of them work), midsole speckle, swoosh (only a couple of them work), swoosh border (only a couple of them work), flywire (a few of them work), logo color (a couple of them work).

UPDATE: Try this to get it to work.

The Lebron has 7 areas with multiple colors. The editor has a region/color limitation of 8.

Some areas have to share colors (per the shoe design from nike). Easiest way to see it is to change all areas to the same color, and then try to edit them again.

As the person above said, you just change all colors to one color and then you go from there...it's definitely not broken...

I have an issue with these: whenever I edit them in NikeiD and attempt to equip them, instead of my edited shoe being on the player, a pair of LeBron 7's ends up on the player's feet! I don't know if the same issue applies when you edit them in Shoe Creator, but it's definitely happening to me with NIkeiD. You've been warned, you've all been warned...

Is the fact that they're hideous one of the issues? Guess Lebron is also competing with Jordan for ugliest shoe of all time.

I hope 2k just unlocks Wade and gives him the generics so we can just give him our created Lli-Ning shoe.

I do prefer the Lebron 9 Elite over the 10 , the 10 is still a great shoe. What Jordan are you talking about? The retros are beautiful!

The dumb thing won't edit on Nike ID. You can create the shoe but you can't equip them. I think this has become an issue with all Nike ID!!!

Yup I just commented on this! I called 2k yesterday & submitted a "bug report". Really annoying!

Ha I agree totally! The 9's are way better. But I still won't the accurate shoe ya know?

the KD V are available for Nike iD (in real life) and if the LeBron X is any indication then we will see the KD V's in game in about 20 days... would be nice if everything was same day...

So the Lebrons are nikeID only, no standard shoe edit? I want to do the whole tan/blue thing to make them change with home and away.

No they are available for regular shoe edit. In fact, thats the only way you can really edit them, as 2k decided to release the Nike ID shoe completely and totally bugged, with only 1-2 parts of the shoe editable in any way (on Nike ID).

Ya it's rediculous that they didn't give us a 9 and 9 PS that was fully textured and editable not just a port from last year. I was hoping to create my cool greys and Miami Vices I could wear in blacktop.
