NBA 2K13 Digital Download Pushed to October 30th?

While you can still purchase a physical retail copy of NBA 2K13, according to Amazon, the PC digital download has been pushed to October 30th.

The previous release date was October 16th.

The problem for us PC guys is that they won't consider it a failure, as long as they have console players who buy the the game on their platform.

Sports gaming on PC is now a dying breed. No NHL 13, or Madden 13 on PC this year. Next year 2k14 might be added on that list.

i don't get it, i bought the game with the box and i'm able to play it since October 8th or something like that ... what the difference with the digital version of the game ?

Game is the same, you just don't need the disc, and it's nice to have all your games in the same library.
And alot of pc users don't have an optical drive as it's never used

In the UK no-one has stock of the disc version so there is no alternative to DD, plus I don't have an internal disc drive in my laptop, so I don't want to use an external USB drive to play the game.

You can do as I did install on external dvd drive then download a no cd fix, it's not really the same but I don't like to wait, still getting an extra dd copy later as I want all my games in my steam library
