Just downloaded the demo and played for a few minutes before heading to work. Once you get past the opening video with the horrible sound track you are thrown in a race in a viper. Once this race ends you can access the options, which I quickly did so I could turn of the Music/ radio. Do game devs think people really listen to this techn electronic crap? I'm sure there must be better music in the game, but I don't listen to music when I play games anyway so I always turn it off.

Next I had to buy a car for an off road race which I ran on the default settings. A.I. were on medium and I easily won the race.

Graphics look good. The handling was excellent in the two cars I drove. I did a little bit of free roam driving around, not a lot is unlocked. I'm guessing in the full game as you complete events more of the map will open up. I'm looking forward to playing this more today after work. Worth checking out for sure.

There are 200 cars to start with and then whatever DLC releases. For a game like this, I think 200 cars are more than enough imo. I started the d/l off the web site, now just need my wife to turn on the 360 so its ready when I get home.

Yes. Lots of it. And I'm 47 years old and also sing lead in a rock band.

In fact, I'm listening to an Anjunabeats mix as I work right now.

Thanks for the impressions of Horizon. Eager to try this one, too.

Just played a bunch more, love it. Picking it up day one. Sorry about the music comments, just not my cup of tea. I'm 52 been playing drums for 37 years. I listen to a lot of Metal, Progressive Metal, Classic Rock and Frank Zappa. For years I made a living playing tecno /Madonna dance music in bands, probably why I can't listen to it now. lol.
