Forza Horizon Season Pass Will Cost You $49.99 (4,000 MSP) Pay or Pass?

As mentioned last week, Season Pass for Forza Horizon is on it's way for $49.99 (4,000 MSP), as confirmed by Joystiq.

	The �Forza Horizon� Season Pass is your action-packed ticket to automatic access to the �Forza Horizon� Expansion Pack (available Dec. 18, 2012), along with six game car packs, as they�re released through the next year. Each car pack will include six new vehicles and those who purchase the Season Pass will also get access to five exclusive season pass vehicles and the launch day pack. The �Forza Horizon� Season Pass will be available for purchase starting 26th October, on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for only 4,000 Microsoft points ($49.99), representing a 17 percent overall savings as compared to purchasing the content separately.

Unless they are adding another state to drive thru (which they are not), price is way too high and not consistant with current market values.

That can't be correct. Is that correct?

The price of a new game for a mystery grab bag of DLC - most of which will cosmetic. I think MS just surpassed Copcom as most ridiculous priced DLC pusher.

Compare this to what you get from GTA or Borderlands for less than half that and MS should be damn ashamed. In fact, anyone buying this should be damn ashamed and embarrassed. I think MS has just about rode this generation into the ground and are setting themselves up to fail hard. Their ego and balls are way bigger than Sony's ever was coming into this gen off the PS2 high. MS will only have themselves to blame. Greedy bastards.

This entire "Season Pass" concept is getting ridiculous. $20 I could kinda understand. $30 was really pushing it, I wouldn't pay $30 myself, but $40?? They are taking customers for a ride with that price. You're talking about a $100 game now...

Agreed. And it's $50, not $40, according to the headline, which is just outrageous. That literally better consist of an entire game worth of content and not just more cars to drive around in.

What's scary is how much this will cost if you buy it all NOT using the Season Pass...

$58.50

It's a 17% savings. Which I'd rather pay the $58.50 if the content is that good and buy it at my leisure.

WTF! $60 if you do not buy the pass, something has to give here. Is this MSFT or Turn 10 that are pushing this season pass pricing? I am very interested in Forza Horizon but this is insane.
