No need to bring up the competition in this thread..

One minor detail I noticed on Dion Waiters guarding Kobe.

Dion switched his head and hands through every movement Kobe did, then scrambled to put his hand up top when Kobe lifted off.

I REALLY hope the defense on the controller is as responsive as that was! Every time you got backed down in the post in 2K12, players would make absolutely no movement within defending until the shot went up or until the infamous spin occurred. I would love to be able to anticipate the right movement a lot quicker.

Fair enough.

To be honest, I think you can find videos of REAL LIFE HIGHLIGHTS and someone would say the same thing. It all depends on the angle.

Not downplaying your claim, just saying it's a very subjective thing IMO.

If the crowd is that lively in the game, this will definitely be the best 2k game ever released. Hands down.

This has nothing to do with Live. Keep your comments on the trailer.

Thanks!

VC/2k sports fan

Most of the people in this forum are "OGs" when it comes to NBA 2K. I've been playing since the Dreamcast days and even though these trailers really just show highlights of some of the games new animations and other additions....it's definitely different than 2K12. As far as your midnight release issue...that's fine...most people will either already have it or get before, during or after work (normal). I'm sure you'll be one of them.

You can never tell with licenses. I'm sure either 2k or BBE is just being safe so Mike doesn't sue them.

People will always find something to complain about as 2k gets closer and closer to a realistic game..Imagine the ferver when this drop for xbox 720 or ps4.."What you mean I cant change the ticket prices to the game?" or I don't like the camera angle at the entrance to "6 championship drive" at the Palace of Auburn Hills, I cant see the players getting out of their cars!"

That was........ AMAZING! OMG, I can't wait. One question though, is the game really going to sound that good? That audio was fantastic.

I will be using the NBAs fastest backcourt on 2k13 online. Brandon Jennings & Monta Ellis running & gunninggunning! Breaking Ankles, jacking up 3s, finger rolling on the competition

Paul George and Gerald Green . I finally get to use some REAL dunkers after dealing with the Bryant's, T-Mac's, Carter's, James', and [insert dunker] for so long. It's going to be a good year for me.

The video looks great other than the "half court" windmill and 360 dunks by George and Green. If the post fadeaway is not over powered like 2k11 and 2k12, then the game will be near perfect for me. Good job by 2k. I assume they turned down the success of fadeaways, since they seem to have fixed everything else from the information they are putting out so far.

When you're using a song for a soundtrack of a product that's earning money, things get all sorts of weird in terms of legalities of what can be mentioned and what cannot. For instance, even if Michael Jordan has signed on to have his likeness used in NBA 2K13, I'm still not sure it creates free realm to have his name used in songs featured in the game's soundtrack.

Yeah but as long as they KNOW they are being a bit unreasonable I don't have a problem with it. If his comment is just his opinion and he doesn't go overboard with "OMG, cancelling my pre-order" then I don't see a problem with it.

I'm sure a dev. would agree some animations could get cleaned up if you discussed certain ones with them...

The best thing about this clip is the defense reaction, look left look right, swipe at ball and then hope for a miss! Beautiful... I am a laker fan but I won't be using them online bc I'm not a noob! Hahah ld2k = noob
