Don't care about Nash overall just hope both his and Kobe's defensive attributes aren't grossly overrated.

Nash got a bit of a bump didn't he?

84 > 87

Has the formula changed at all? I don't think I've heard anything about that

loving Nash's rating, I know those shooting attributes are sky high.

Wow, an 87. Sheesh. Would love to see what his Signature Skills are looking like...Dimer is a given. Pick Pocket is debatable.

EDIT: Debatable in the sense that he shouldn't have any signature skills that go deep defensively, since he doesn't really excel in that department, even though in 2K12 someone can get ten steals with Nash easily.

lol how did you even come up with pick pocket for Nash ? I'm stumped.

Nash is statistically the most proficient shooter in nba history. 50 90 and 40. And on a per minute basis the highest assist man as of last year.

a floor general on the court with Kobe, Howard and Gasol ... oh laaaawwwd. That's scary to think about.

No wonder Kobe was hitting everything in that gameplay video.

Hmmmm....The Pacers may very well have a starting 5 of low 80's and very high 70's.

Again, all three ratings look about right. Makes me wonder how Tony Parker is rated?

Nash's sig skills should be Dimer, Floor General and Deadeye or Shot Creator.

Ratings seem to be higher across the board this year...so while I was a bit taken aback at Nash's bump in his rating at first, I guess it makes sense overall.

The Lakers are going to be a bit loaded overall, as I'm sure Howard will be rated high and Gasol will not have lost anything as well.

I think this new Signature Skills system has improved the ratings greatly. Things are much more accurate now. In the Kinect Integration Trailer, I saw that Duncan had a star by his name. Rightly above 85 if that's his final rating.

seriously? pick pocket? how could you possibly talk down on people about that "stupid fictional game" when you yourself know nothing about basketball. whats next, u gonna say rondo getting spot up shooter is debatable? smh. and of course you're a heat fan, these new heat fans make me sick. its a few true loyal heat fans i know that were fans since tim hardaway, mashburn and zo, and they have basketball knowledge. n yea im a gotdam wizards/bullets fan! been one since michael adams, tom gugliatta and k.duckworth (my fav squad was c.webb, juwan, strickland, calbert chaney, chris witney, n muresan). but anyways those ratings are pretty accurate, especially manimal.

You do know sig skills don't affect base ratings at all right? Unless you mean that 2k changed the way they rate players because they realized that sig skills could cover up any holes that ratings couldn't touch.(would that make ratings lower though?)

What attributes do ya'll think faried will have?

Posterior, highlight film, acrobat, alley-ooper, and hustle points ?

They have one of the best overall average starting lineup I think . Like not one player is way below or above anyone else .

I love Faried but I only see him with Hustle Points and Scrapper. For as amazingly athletic as he is I don't see Faried pulling out crazy dunks or dunking on people. At least not yet - maybe later in his career as he definitely has the athleticism. Most of his dunks come in transition or off of oops on the crazy fast pace the Nuggets play at. He is great at pulling down alley-oops but that signature skill looks to only be for passers.

I guess most of that is fair. He's had some great dunks though.

Anyone know if there is a sig for rebounding?

Wow, Nash is one of my favorite players of all-time, but I was really surprised to see an 87. That's a big jump this late in his career. However, the more I think about it, it really just means he's been underrated for a while. As someone else said, he really is one of the most efficient scorers of all-time. His percentages are off the charts. And if CP3 is going to have a huge rating (due partly to his great shooting percentages even though he doesn't score that many points), then Nash needed to have sky high offensive ratings.

So long as his defense still suffers, then it's all good. I just hope Howard isn't through the roof (92 seems about right to me), or the Lakers will be unreal.

Granger seems slightly high at 84, but it seems to match with Amare's 84 (two guys I would give the same rating to, even though I think that rating should be 82 or 83), so maybe the formula has slightly changed. Faried at 76 seems about right.
