Sounds like sig skills are more about bringing out players intangibles then giving players superhuman abilities like some think....
Not worried at all...
Yep, there was no way in previous 2k to replicate the energy given to a team after a big dunk, big block, a player stepping up and putting his body on line to draw a charge, having a player on the floor that you know has your back on defense or having a PG that knows what to do with the ball and when to do it.
That was pretty cool. I was wondering before what the purpose of signature skills was, and this gave us a pretty good look. I guess this allows 2K to show the value of non-superstars on your team.
"When an Eraser swats a shot, he boosts the energy of his teammates and decreases the shooting attributes (up to six points) of the player he blocked for up to a minute and a half."
This is probably one of my favorite signature skills listed. I'm loving this detailed blog about the skills and the video displaying some of the skills. Keep up the good work, can't wait to try this stuff out.
I'm encouraged more by how Big Baby immediately turned and was ready to catch a pass than I am the sig skills. The AI last year in freelance situations was ignorant. Hopefully that's a sign that it's improved this year. After seeing some of the other videos as well and watching the cutting/screen setting/spotting up, I think it has.
I think my favorite part of all this is the implication (within the descriptions) that not all SSs will effect each of the players that have it in the same way. Key words like "up to" imply that there is a maximum percentage effect and that there will still be differentiation between Ibaka with the Eraser SS and, say, Stiemsma with the same SS.
Thank you. Now My bobcats can scrap on the floor and bench player will have a realistic impact on the game. I was looking for defensive sig skills and they have them. Looking like another good game from 2K Sports.

My one "concern" with Eraser is though Anthony Davis deserves it, one of Davis' traits in college was blocking shots so they stayed in bounds so his team could get it and get instant fast break points. Davis would only send a block out of bounds if he was doing it near a sideline and had no where else to send it.
Does anyone have the contact information of any of the game producers, specifically Mike Wang? I was trying to get ahold of one of them through email on a question on I had that I hope could be implemented into the game before relase. I understand it's pretty much done with in terms of making the game but its a pretty simple feature that they could even do via a patch..If anyone knows how to get in touch with any of the 2k game producers please let me know..thanks.

Or you can send an e-mail through the 2K website
There is also a wishlist on OS that you could put it on.

I'm with ya man! Love the Bobcats (which will hopefully be changing to the Hornets!)
