NBA 2K13 Screenshots Featuring Iverson, Pippen, Shaq, Zo, Kemp and Wilt

2K Sports has released some new NBA 2K13 screenshots of NBA legends appearing in the game.

Included are Allen Iverson of the 2000 – 2001 Philadelphia 76ers, who will be available for the first time as a historic player in the game. The screenshots also feature in-game highlights of Wilt Chamberlain of the Los Angeles Lakers , Shawn Kemp of the Seattle Supersonics, Shaquille O’Neal of the Orlando Magic, Alonzo Mourning of the Charlotte Hornets, and Scottie Pippen of the Chicago Bulls.

You're right, the lighting does look better in Live 10.

Honestly, 2K's Art Team needs to step up with colors, player models, accessories, shoes, everything really. The gameplay sounds like it is going to be spectacular but the art will be a let down (again). If they could fix that, there game would be absolutely perfect...

Ronnie 2k confirmed on twitter the Iverson cyberface was from 2000-2001 when they went to the finals. They versed the lakers that year in finals so it confirms 2000-2001 lakers are in 2k13.

I agree with everything except the player models...it's actually better this year since they tweaked the body types. It's only lacking wingspans but I don't think its possible to add wingspans without messing up animations....

If you meant faces and updated looks then yes the art team needs better source material on who they are basing the models on. It's like they don't have access to google or something lol Larry Bird sportin a stache in the olympics...sheesh and don't get me started on Mark Price.....

The other thing that's lacking is the crowd noise...I was just watching some gameplay vids of Live 10 and the quality in the sound is superb. I'm holding my judgement for 2k13 till I hear it myself.

It's not been confirmed that the Lakers are in the game. I hope they are though.

No he did not!

Ronnie said the 95 rated AI is the Ai from 00-01.
No one said that they will change his cyberface.
(maybe they will change it, but it's not confirmed)

Well one things for sure, we know that they can definitely change cyberfaces throughout the season and at anytime lol.

they could??? When and who faces have they changed in 2k12?...i never knew they did this?

exactly what i remember, havent seen them really do that before, n also allen iverson 2001 cyberface has not been confirmed...so we might be stuck with the 36 year old version and just imagine he looks younger when playing with him on the 2001 philadelphia 76ers team

If Ronnie at 2k said it's in the game then its in the game.SIMPLE. The guy can be trusted. He isn't hiding like ummmmm. You know.

Also they can change cyber faces an easy example to notice that would be how they removed the black arms.If they can do that then they can change faces. I don't blame them for not doing it though because it can damage the game coding.

I hope 2K continues to represent the players and teams of the last few decades of NBA basketball like they've been doing. A classic match-up is always more interesting to me than today's Heat v. Lakers.

Exclusively current day fans don't understand that but it means a hell of a lot to more to many people than shoes ever will.

its cool they have legends and all ... but im more concerned about online still because all i play is online in all my games ... and im still wondering about .............. well ill bring it up another time .. but having a.i. in 2k is a good look

I think this opens the door for other modern "classic" teams. Hopefully they bring back young T Mac and/or VC as well.

But i am ecstatic about AI, favorite player of all time.

I'm glad to have Iverson back in the game. Now I just hope he looks like the young MVP Iverson and not the older version. Another thing I've hated about 2k when it came to Iverson. Is his tattoos they never seem to look right on his arms. Mainly the upper ones,they look like their too low on his arms. Just go find a 2k game with him on it and you'll see what I mean. Ex. His cross, the Georgetown one and the hold my own tattoo. 2k needs to raise them up.Live had em perfect.

Guys i think they are just using the one from 2k11because they didn't make the new model yet. The one from 2k11 will likely be hidden this year along with a bunch of other players that were removed from 2k11 but didn't appear in 2k12 do the the lockout.
