I'm talking primarily user vs. user iLL. People can play how they want vs. the cpu as that's not my concern. People can play how they want against a user too I just like going head to head against a user -I D them up they D me up
Mean no disrespect to those who don't feel the same.
Yeah that's why i wanted clarification. I didn't know if 24th & illwill were speaking on the same thing.
Me personally I change defenders constantly. By default I play on ball, but I hate how guys in 2k12 always get caught on screens so i'm constantly switching defenders whenever I see a screen about to happen.

yeah, there are certain times when you almost have to switch defenders since you can't always trust your AI teammates to rotate properly.

I am mainly talking about CPU vs CPU. I didnt like that even good/great defender would sag off if a player had high enough drive tendency. Hopefully they play tighter. Mainly because they would try to help out and leave players WIDE open
Also, something I would love to see changed (which you can see in this video). Is that when you own a team (CPU) and the point difference is +10-20 they start to play fullcourt defense but I just blast by them and score easy lay-ups/dunks or wide open shots.
I hope the defense is/has been improved. Because that just makes it too easy. And when I play association (12 min quarters) and I have a few blowouts vs several teams I don't want to play like that. I want a team to actually try and play decent defense. Maybe let a guard defend me full court but not every player.
You could, you know, walk the ball up and set your offense instead of blowing by the full-court press. But I agree, it's too easy to exploit.
Best preview I've heard so far. It really puts my mind at ease knowing you can finally slash to the basket and actually finish a layup with out getting blocked by a gaurd's knee or some ****.
I haven't heard much about the foul calls, but I really hope there are more shooting and blocking fouls, or at least the fouls are called consistent for both user and CPU. I know you can change sliders, but not in Online Associations where you have to play the CPU teams sometimes.
I'll be happy as a clam if they add sliders and flex schedules to the Online Association, and I know it's too much to ask for the ability to edit players' accessories in OA.
Good video and good impressions. Didn't add anything new though to what we already know but it sounds like the game has been tweaked in a really good way!
chris smoove...smh cmon son...lets get a real baller in 2k to let us know what is up....that dude been exposed as a bum....he is a video editer, nothing more.

Who are you? In one thread you proclaim yourself as a NBA 2K legend and in this thread you are verbally abusing a respected member of the NBA 2K community. Very disrespectful.
ask around about me...im a known 2k legend....and smoove knows me. 2k forums, get at me.....not disrespectful, just real...but I see yall caping for him...so do u....no need to fuss and fight, he knows what it is and who I am...keep balling my nephew
I am very happy to hear about those shot contest sliders, this is something I hoped they would add and actually asked for. Very important for balancing shot accuracy when open vs. shot accuracy when defended. Kudos 2K.
I'm pretty much loving what I'm hearing so far on this game. I was admittedly skeptical about this year's edition after seeing that super early gameplay clip in June, but I am happy to eat some crow and admit that it sounds like they've really innovated a lot this year. The right stick dribble is like a dream come true for me, especially with Live most likely not coming out, and it sounds like they've really addressed several of the game's most plaguing issues (double teams, speed variance, collisions, blocks). Now if only D Rose would just get healthy I'll be totally set
