What he did last season in 2011, he shot 44% from 3: http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelo...2011/ray-allen

Sometimes Ray Allen is going to make it regardless. Just be glad he isn't drifting like he sometimes does when he shoots 3's.
I bet he didn't shoot 100% in those games.

I respect his shot. Really I do, but if I didn't like how he made shots in that particular video, can't be helped. Just rubbed me wrong.

And yeah, Dirk had no business being 99 from medium distance.

Think the best remedy is for fatigue to play a hand. Like if you can make Ray or Dirk guard someone too tough for them, they'll tire out and not be as effective on the other end of the floor.

Why are people still trying to judge the graphics over a cell phone video, the guys from the team up program already said the game looks amazing in HD and that player models were upgraded.

It could be the camera angle, but I was expecting contact on that lebron dunk and that layup in traffic by ibaka or durant. I know the guys that played the game early have said physics is spot on but i'm still seeing that sliding when it's suppose to be contact.

And who ever said the teamup members played a different version in the bay is WRONG. Both iPodkingcarter and vanhawkwolf said they played the EXACT same demo that's in Germany. So stop defending this game! How can you even after how awful 2k12 is?
SO let me guess you're a Heat fan, and will just ignore the people who actually saw the game in person.

Faces in the gamescom build may or may not be final or reflective of the final product.

Meh...looks almost identical to 2k12 gameplay imo. Why are Ibaka and Durant going to layups in the paint over just doing a standing dunk??? THIS drives me absolutely crazy! I played with the 95 Magic in a season and Shaq never dunks!! He always does this clunky animation for a layup. REALLY"?? I see the same issue in 2k13 from the 2nd video. Also, is the problem fixed where big men stand at the 3pt line during offensive possesions? I couldn't tell since we had to watch a couple cheesers play.

All in all the game looked the same as 2k12 imo. I'll play the demo and go from there on whether I purchase this year's game or not.

Ray Allen was hitting everything he shot.

I hope the 3 isn't overpowered like it was in 2k12, or else I will be doing a complete roster edit

Can anyone point me to a time where some good physics are shown? Watched both videos and the drives to the basket just look like people are being pushed aside. No physics. Ibaka just glided backwards when LeBron dunked and so on.

Passing looked good though. Lots of good animations there.

The one thing that I see that really impresses me this year that I haven't seen anyone comment on is how natural the ball moves. Every video basketball game since the ball seem to have a predetermined distination. Just watching the clips the ball finally seems to be it's on independent object completely seperate from the players and/or their path.

Its a video game, its not a "face analyzing" game, no matter what basketball game we play this gen, were not gonna see players look exactly how they look on tv its just not likely, soo get over it and focus on something else more important than your favorite teams faces...

# 33 cmebfresh @ 08/18/12 08:30 PM
but i can't wait till the demo comes out for i can judge the graphics and gameplay ( even though a different build).but the 2k12 demo played better then the retail sooooo. also you cant judge the graphics off this video quality, plus the gameplay cause some of these guys on the sticks is playing arcade ball and they suck. I want to see some plays run to see how smooth it is
I'm in a wait and see mode with 2k. that 2k team up community didn't make me flinch of excitement. i got to get on them sticks. ipodking said the big mans don't have ball skills and in one video i seen perkins dribbling like crazy, i was looking for him to lose the ball.

I hate how people are only pointing out the bad like these people havent been working on the game to please us, they cant give everthing done we want them too in as much time they want have. We all know 2k12 sucked ***, okk we get it but if you can obviously see the changes from 2k12 to 2k13 than you should know they're trying. You people need to start being understanding, none of us every created a game and I know it cant be easy soo therefore dont juss say "I want this and this needs to be fixed" when you dont even know **** about about being a developer or even know **** about basketball, meatheads. Lmao

Graphics look great to me. I am not sure where all this fuss is coming from, sure it aint perfect but if your the one looking for a vastly different looking game should wait till next gen. You cant deny the fact that this has been the best looking basketball game series on this gen.

After watching various skill levels playing I can say the following
  • Demo 3pt shooting is tuned very high. So that appears to be a difficulty setting/ slider tuning thing. If somebody has a good 3pt you can really get hot it was the same way in 2k12 demo. It is most likely like this on purpose
  • There is better contact in the paint shot success and shot types are much better. I didn't see the awkward layups or awkward contact shots.
  • Passing is faster and the passing seems to be a little less predetermined meaning you can step in and alter the outcome or the pass may go long. There is less herky jerky passing as you seem to be able to hit players in stride. I am happy to see this.
  • The isomotion looks superb it looks like it will be easy to use. It also looks like they balanced the dribbling out by if you try to do too much you will lose the drbibble or do isomotion with the wrong player.
  • The dunk animations are nice improved less floaty, the verticals heights of the dunks happen at are realistic.
  • Animations are improved

You sound twice as dumb right now bcuss im talking about consoles, you can do anything you want w/ a pc bcuss its a freaking pc, you can edit whatever you want, they are not playing on a pc there playing on a ps3 soo get your facts straight before you think you know something.

My thread about other gamescom vids was better since it didn't turn into a debate about LBJ's mug lol
