I dont know of any 6'11 players that deserve a 95 but I could see Dwight Howard with an 85 and if he had that rating he should catch some fast PGs from behind if anything delays them even a low ball handling rating.

Yea, me too. It's strange that nobody even mentioned it.

I like that euro can be done easier though for me personally as you know when you want to use it in game as long as it doesn't have a high success rate and can be countered against. I don't want to see abuse of this move online thats for sure! Hopefully one of the guys can chime in here.

Edit: euro step was double tap x apparently. Smallz said they were easy to pull off but they were not automatic and he got blocked once doing it and it didn't go in all the time either.
Do you think that means we will be able to pull of all the moves with X and other face buttons this year including runners if we choose to?

I'm just glad it sounds like there is defensive logic, you can actually get past the defender if he is out of position, and Mismatches can be exploited.

Sounds like this could be a serious competitor for sports GOTY.

I thought 2k12 was very consistent limited the success rate. 2k11 was euro step and hop step cheese. Can't believe the ppl who claim they want a sim, but want to euro with Roy Hibbert at the same time.

Hey Ea's arcade game releases the same night bro. Be sure to pick one up.
I Agree.. Euro steps were finein 2k12.. Better than in 2k11. That should be the least of 2k's worries..

BTW 2k is slowly taking a lot of things from old NBA Live games, 1st with the contol stick, now with these Olympic teams. Hopefully they get all the jerseys Live had..

Yeah because I said I can't Euro with Perkins 'bro'. For me they were. For example I play with the Kings a lot. A lot of times I get out on the fast break with Tyreke Evans with only the opposing PG back. I Euro to go around him and the success rate just isn't there IMO. I only played 2K11 a handful of times so I'm not even basing it on that. But I'll be sure to take your advice 'bro'.

Tyreke isn't quite as good with the Euro as Perkins or Hibbert, but....

Manual flopping lol. That is interesting.

I'm glad the speed has been fixed.

Hopefully a move like this can look smooth in-game.

This the most off base and assumptive post i've seem in a while. I hope you didn't hurt your back reaching.

Something can play out realistically consistently with out being consistently successful.

Awesome little nugget about being able to make the orange icon disappear in replay mode. From 2K6 to 2k10, you were able to click LT & RT (L2 & R2) simultaneously to make the orange indicator disappear; the last two iterations haven't given that option. When I went to edit my videos, it took me, at the very least, an hour to get rid of the orange indicator each time. Tedious to say the least, and I've never been a fan of Reelmaker because the action takes a noticeable hit as the frames per second are seemingly cut in half. I don't know if it was an oversight in 2k11 and 2k12, but I'm glad it's now address.

Thank you for asking about that in particular. I'm actually shocked that it was bothersome to someone else, which led to it being asked about. Also, of course, thanks for the insightful vid.

1 on 1 on the break with a guard should almost always result in a layup or foul. Doesn't happen in 12. The hop step seems like the only decent quick move but still guys get sucked into awkward animations at times or just lose the ball lol.

How are the floaters? In 2K12 not only were they difficult for me to pull off, but they never went in when I managed to pull them off. I'm sorry if this was addressed in the video, I don't have my headphones right now.

I will never forget this because it was one of the worse whooping I have ever taken in 2k but on 2k11 I played this guy the had the Kings and he beat me by like 30 points. All he did was Euro Step every time down court with Tyreke Evens. I could not stop it for nothing. I would either foul him or he would make it. You can only imagine how frustrated I was.

That's so ridiculous. I would've cut Jeffries off the team after that play.

Eurostep could probably be its own attribute or something of that sort, cause when I think of euro's, I think of Ginobli and Wade (now Reke) and not everyone should be able to pull this layup off, or at least with success. Just cause its a move you can do doesn't mean everybody should be able to do it.

Like I said earlier I only played 2k11 a couple of times so I can't really compare it to 2k12. I think 2k12 did a decent job of eliminating "money" moves (sans the up and under). I don't want the euro-step to be unstoppable in 2k13. At the same time, I want to be able to use it in the appropriate situations. Part of the reason may have been the contact/physics system, IDK. Hopefully, the new system in 13 will help.
