Less than 24 hrs.

bottom line for me, I loved watching that video.

Ok I like the look of the RTPs. But I find something funny at 2:14 mark in the video. When the QB goes no huddle. You look to the left and see the Dlineman in a 3 point stance away from the oline and in front of the WR of all things. Where is the CB at. LOL That is funny. Hoping that ain't big problem with no huddle.

Another waste of time video from Madden Devs...If people aren't awake at this point I don't know what to tell them. They basically told us the same thing we have known for months on end...and there still hasn't been a video highlighting all of these "new" passing trajectories. The Infinity Engine really hasn't shown anything impressive at all. I'm not on the team of you have to "feel/play it" in order to get the physics...I can name 3-4 other football games right now that don't have fancy names for their player movement and it is 10X better than Madden 13's current videos.. before and after E3.

There is a reason that we have not seen any new videos, unlike the 2K, FIFA's of the world, and that is because there is not much of anything truly new. I will play the DEMO tomorrow, but I don't have any spectacular hopes for it. Every year we get new excuses and new "engines"...and more taken out of the game...yet somehow people are still hyping this game for FAR more than what it is. #shameful

And just to touch on another point, why is nobody really questioning the new engine. Why do all the players do a hop-step/hot potato jump after tackles are made....I don't see that on Sundays...and definitely not after every play. There is so much I won't even bother to touch on in detail because clearly there are tons of people using rose colored lenses when it comes to the Madden series.

Big problem. Look at how fast that defender slides around at 2:55 after the press. WR still going forward while the DB has to change direction. How does the DB go from behind the WR to a good yard in front of him to pick the ball off? What happened to locomotion?

Thanks but I'm gonna go ahead and assume that it is in the game since it is in the video and it was in previous Madden games on this gen.

It's not in the game, this effect was in another video they released during E3 and I asked them about it and they said that sound effect is not in the game.

It's confirmed in another thread that the zoom sound is just for video demonstration not for gameplay

I hope everyone stops complain about these Monday madden videos...

They are not for the Hardcore gamer! We kno everything about M13

They are for the casual Gamer that doesn't follow madden every sec of there lives like the most of us on here lol

# 32 JerzeyReign @ 08/13/12 03:53 PM
But the casual gamers rarely watch these videos while us hardcore gamers do. Why not make videos for us?

Cause casual gamers are the ones who influence sales the most. Most of Madden's audience are casual gamers.

I'm surprised this surprises anyone. This isn't going to change this gen. I have been preaching this for years.

My only hope for any real true foot planting and momentum is for next gen.

You missed the point. If casual gamers rarely get around to watching these videos, why make them geared towards them? All these gameplay videos say the same thing inside of them. Why not make videos of why the IE will change the way we play? Or why Read and React should be considered a huge improvement this year? Why do they continue to give this water down BS every time they talk about the game? I know they have to sell games but these videos seem like they are just a 'check in the box' instead of something truly informative.

When Ian was around they had smaller in detail videos for the hardcore players. I remember watching Wes Welker cutting on the green screen to show player momentum with cutting. Then people complained that they videos showing off features or fixes that didn't make into the game. My guess is EA plays their cards tighter now because the transparent and open communication era didn't quite work out.

I'm glad the defensive assignments are fixed. Or at least that's what he just said.. I really hated getting confused when my players covered recievers that they shouldn't be covering. Like a Linebacker covering Desean Jackson...

# 38 Kanobi @ 08/13/12 07:59 PM
lol @ the designer guy. He seemed so nervous. Looked like if the camera zoomed out more we'd see black-hooded EA execs on either side of him with Ak47's

Got to love marketing guys that have absolutely no clue.

This has to be the worst marketing plan. That video has 302 views. Hardcore or casual no one cares about the hype train. Even casuals know what Madden is and isn't this generation. I don't know what these video really accomplish, show stale gameplay, and answer soft ball question.
