Madden NFL 13 News Post

EA Sports’ Madden NFL 13 Ratings Reveal enters its second week as the fans decided amongst all QB’s that RGIII will be the fastest, Matthew Stafford will have the strongest arm, Aaron Rodgers will have the most accurate deep ball and Peyton Manning is the most aware.

Voting has begun to determine the fastest running back in Madden NFL 13. For the rest of the week, we'll see polls for the acceleration and elusiveness rating.

This campaign allows fans to vote on attributes like speed, elusiveness, hit power and more. The winner of each vote will be the highest-rated player for that attribute at their position in Madden NFL 13.

Upcoming weeks will focus on running backs, wide receivers and defenders, with the winners in each category announced every Friday. Here is the voting schedule breakdown:
  • Aug 6 – 10: Running Backs – Speed, Acceleration, Trucking, Elusiveness
  • Aug 13 – 17: Wide Receivers & Tight Ends – Speed, Spectacular Catch, Route Running, Agility
  • Aug 20 – 24: Defense – Speed, Hit Power, Tackling, Man Coverage
  • Aug 24: Offensive Line, Special Teams and Overall Team Ratings
Not only will each winner receive a boost in their attributes in Madden NFL 13, but they’ll also be immortalized with a special card in Madden Ultimate Team. Fans who collect the cards of every winning player will be able to add them to a collection which will unlock a special Madden Ultimate Team reward in Madden NFL 13.

So the question is... Which RB should have the highest trucking rating in Madden NFL 13?

I don't like the three nominations at all. Where is Steven Jackson for one? Blount?
3.8 ypc as a #2 RB behind one of the worst lines in the league last season. Besides, this is about trucking ability, not statItics. While he's certainly lost a step, Jacobs can still bang.

In saying that, I do agree that he shouldn't be included on this list.

It seems these polls are just being used in place of a typical marketing campaign. These things get potential customers talking about the game and make them feel somewhat involved in the game's creation.

Lame.

I vote Chris Ivory....just playing fellas.
I say Michael Turner just because we deal with him twice a week. He is really strong.
Ditto for Blount.
Obviously Lynch still haunts my nightmares
Jacobs can be brought down fairly easy.

Jacobs? 4 years ago yes, now? Not a chance.

Honestly, anyone here that mentions Brandon Jacobs hasnt watched much football. I've seen this dude play numerous times and he is hard to bring down at times but rarely do I see him plow through a defender.

Clearly feel Stephen Jackson and Blount should have been on this list

Hillis, MJD, Blount, jackson are a couple that come to mind that prefer to lower their shoulder than make a move. A lot of backs will 'truck' but I think the ones above are a cut above the rest and no doubt Hillis will bring the pain.

This times a thousand. As A Bears fan I absolutly hate facing him 2 times a year.. Whenever you think hes down well.. Hes not. Leads to a lot of yelling at the T.V. Always is churning out extra yardage.

My vote is for Michael Turner. Lynch and Blount are two guys that don't really run many people over in my opinion. They can take a hit and stay up because they have good balance, but they don't really run right through people all that much in my opinion.

The first 3 names that came to my head when I first saw this thread was S.Jackson, L.Blount, and A.Peterson.. I was super shocked to see that none of them was list..

you clearly dont know what you are talking about when it come to trucking. lol blount only have two moves. he either jumps over a defender or run right through him.

Probably Turner or Jacobs. Either one is fine with me. Lynch hasn't really trucked anyone over. I could be wrong. But the two games I watched of him that stood out were the Saints wildcard game '10 and the Eagles regular season game '11. And What I took away from those games was that his arms do most of the work. If it was stiff arm I'd put Lynch ontop of my list. But trucking I don't know about that.

My vote goes to Michael Turner
