If it's Jemele Hill I won't listen to the sideline reports at all. I'll be spamming A as fast as possible.

Please, anyone but Jemele Hill. I confess I don't know who Shannon Spike is, but I'd take my chances. Shelley is an actual sideline reporter. Jemele has too many opinions to just be a sideline reporter, and she's too argumentative. I wouldn't believe she could report on an injury without turning it into a debate in which her decibel level rises significantly and her tone turns frantic.

What about Jenn Brown?

This thread made it to page 3 without pictures???

This is the internet folks, you're slacking

Hill-

Spake-

And Shelley Smith doesn't really stand a chance in this competition, so here's a picture of a cat pushing a watermelon out of a lake-

You just made my day...
Anyway hill is the only one I know so I went with her, I never really look into which announcers are good and which aren't, hill knows her stuff on around the horn so i say "why not her"

How about a former player?

How about have all three read the lines and change them based on the game.

Give one the top 25 vs top 25

Give one the top 25 vs unranked

Give on the unranked vs unranked

Give me Jenn Brown, Samantha Steele, or whoever the new ESPN "eye-candy" reporter will be...

Smith - She is the best choice out of the three. Actually covers college football.

Spake - She would get confused with the players turning left and right.

Hill - I would rather listen to Lassie bark at Benji. Helen Keller would make a better reporter.

My vote is for Suzy Kolber. Joe Namath would agree.

In order, I would prefer:

Jenn Brown
Samantha Steele
Shelley Smith
Jemelle Hill

I'd also like a refreshed broadcast booth with Musberger. Brad Nessler has run his course. They also need to work on Reese's studio updates (or remove them, they don't do much for me) and add a pregame, halftime and post game show...

My preferences (if these are our only 3 choices):

1) Spake
2) Smith
3) Hill

How about using some of that allocated memory for some actual well needed improvements.

Jemele Hill? Are you serious? She is the biggest Racist at ESPN!

Kirk: That injury looked pretty bad, Jemele what can you tell us?

Jemele: the white guys teamed up and beat up the star receiver.

Kirk: But he strained his leg in warm ups? Didn't he?

Jemele: No. The NCAA does not stand for race equality.

Kirk: um ok?

Seriously look at some of her articles and tv apperances. She got in a fight with a USA field hockey member because she hated that Title 9 allowed a 14 yr old boy to play Field Hockey since it was not offered at his school.

i really don't have a dog in this fight, but Spake is the only likely choice.

No, no and no. EA barely used EA when she was in the game. If they aren't going to invest the time, just get rid of the position in the game.

Hill is awful, i don't know Spake, Smith is okay.

Samantha Steele. No question.

How about Holly Rowe. Been around forever and works ESPN's main prime time Saturday night games. She's already ahead of most of the discussed candidates in this thread in terms of the games she works -- like Shelley Smith, why she's even in this conversation? lol.

Please not Jemele Hill. When she is on First Take she just sounds idiotic with some of the stuff she says. Half the time she doesn't even have her facts straight. Anyone else would be fine with me.

Um how bout none? and especially not Jamele Hill.
