What are your thoughts on the Wii U version? Like the control mechanics? Not interested at all?

Looks like a PS3.2 game to me. Not interested at all. Maybe if they did a proper sequel to Mario 64, I'd be interested.

This gives me visions of a future where the arm bands that QB's wear will be thin, touch screen computers that allow said QB to literally show everyone in the huddle what the play is, what routes and what blocking assignments. It could revolutionize everything.

seems pretty impressive...probably have to use the pad in or. der to get the difference. I like it.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.
It's a port. Of course it looks the same. Madden's main target audience plays on 360 and PS3. Did you really expect a new engine for the WiiU?

Overall it's a mixed bag to me. The new control aspect is pretty cool and could have long term potentail to change the way games are played, although I have a hard time picturing people showing the same level of stick skills while holding that huge controller.

The negative we as consumers are still going to be stuck with games that look, play and operate based on the capabilities of the weakest system. IMO that is not good for the consumer.

Many of the dev's working with WiiU have said the power is about on par with PS3/360. I wouldn't expect next gen graphics.

If that's the case I dont even understand the existance of a system like the Wii U.

Guys I was able to try out the WiiU this past weekend and I can tell y'all that the new controller is surprisingly comfortable. I've always thought of how cool it would be to play Madden with a screen on the controller to call plays, hot routes, etc. I'll be double dipping and getting the WiiU and 360 versions.

Nope..PSMOVE didnt stop the regular Wii. Plus in order to do that sony would have to build it from ground up. And besides who would want to work on a dying system such as the vita?

@ D Apocalypse That's what I'm going to do. I'm definitely interested in the Wii U version.

@StrawHat Patroit In oreder for the PS3/PS Vita combo to work u have to buy 2 of the same games on 2 systems. Not many games support the combo at all anyways & it's far too expensive. Even if they bundled the VIta in the PS3, which they wont, consumers would have to buy the same game on each system of every game they want to use the controller on. That would be crazy!! That is just not going to work man.

The only thing that seems to bother me about the Wii U version of the game is that it appears to be the only on with the correct border on the Gillette Stadium wall. I keep seeing the old red wall in the Ps3 and 360 versions, but the Wii U has the correct wall. I don't know why that bothers me, it just does. Other than that, the game looks pretty nice on Wii U.
