If you are having issues freezing in NCAA Football 13, after Title Update #1, please list ALL SPECIFICS HERE. We'll send it over to EA Sports to take a look at.

Where does it happen exactly? Cut scene, halftime, studio update, during gameplay, etc.

Go buy a decent Surge Protector and see if that helps. The dorms in the military wrecked havoc on my old system due to all the power surges. I noticed when roomate plugged in his vacuum the xbox sound would click and I would get a freeze (old ps1). But these newer sytems are just as sensitive.

I was in a dynasty with Hawaii, playing a scoreless defensive game against USC.
After a quarter of warfare, my game freezes in a cutscene.

I was playing on my online dynasty for ps3, I made a custom playbook and when I practiced, there was always one player from my team, the number 3 wr would b glitching every time. And if I weren't in 3wr formation, my te would be running in slow motion and freeze up while attempting to block.

Then also, there were a grip of formations and plays that weren't even in my playbook that I added! Wtf!? If I would have played someone which is a user for the conference champ game, I would have been F'd cuz most of the plays I added weren't available. Get ur ish straight EA or give up exclusive rights cuz u r stinking up the football industry of gaming!

Freezing during 4th quarter gametrack highlight.

I am on my 3rd disk and like 10th dynasty I cant get passed week 5 without a freeze either at the post game highlights or during 4th quarter highlight.

Cutaway scene in 3rd quarter, game freezes. If by the Grace of God it doesn't occur there, it usually freeze sin 4th or at end of the game. I believe we had 3rd tuning update today, yet same issues occur. We have no option of turn off cut scenes, so how can this be resolved. This game would be great if it were playable. I refuse to believe this is just a bad batch of games. This is like a fundamental issue that can't be resolved. You got me again EA. Smh.

Freezes during highlights/game updates/X's and O's flying before scoreboard update/postgame highlights

This issue caused me to quit playing NCAA '12 andd it was looking like more of the same in '13. However, I just successfully finished two straight online dynasty games... after turning off autosave in online dynasty settings and NOT using custom playbooks.

Dynasty Mode

Week 5 froze after halftime during gametrack highlight had torestart the game and sim a little but I got through to Week 6. Once again Week 6 after halftime it froze when they went to the sideline reporter. Before the patches the freeze was isolated to Week 2 but know I have no idea which week it will happen.

Are you kidding me get it fixed!!!!!!!!

I have broken my freeze issue down to specifically the game tracker. If the game tracker happens in the last 2 minutes of the game...boom freeze. IMO it is 100% the game tracker that is causing most people's freezes. This was the EXACT same issue last year. To me the simple solution would be to take the gametracker and the need to have every play rerun as a highlight completely out of the game. Not only does it RUN properly its annoying and time consuming. I am no video game developer but the game is overloaded with too much S**t for this generation console. Im at the point where after the 5 minute mark in my 8 minute quarters on dynasty I have to hit the pause button just so I know it will sim right to the playcalling screen after every play. Is it possible for them to come up with a patch that removes the highlights or at least turn them off?

I know NCAA 12 the last patch they admitted that it was unfixable because the coding was so screwed up. Hopefully this isnt the case for 13, else I am going to be stuck playing 11 to get my college fix...

Freezes at the end of every game I play, usually when they show the highlights of my team winning(scoreboard says FINAL). Sometimes if I don't watch the highlights and press A to get through the screen, it does not freeze. I did not have these issues until I did all the mandatory updates.

I'm honestly about to quit this game, this freezing issue is getting reallllllllly freaking old.

So I just got to ask we have over 16 pages of freeze problems. Are they working on a fix? I mean how many more pages do we need?

I thought about picking up NC13 when it was released, but after seeing what happened w/ '12 reading the reviews on Amazon I've mainly stayed away.

Seems like w/ 13 they've fixed the passing a bit, but if you can't play it, what's the point?

For now I'm sticking w/ '12, servers are still up (as well as NCAA '11 are still up), passing is still manageable but certainly not as good as NC13.

Any idea of this is getting addressed from EA? Anyone?

I was thinking the same thing. Seems rather pointless to keep this thread when we have no idea whether it's going to even be looked at or not.

The game is legit unplayable in dynasty mode. It's a real shame. I'd be happy if I just got an answer of why it freezes at this point instead of fooling around with every possible setting.

every members game will freeze at the loading screen to start the games and i cant even sim the week because it freezes as soon as i hit advance. did we just waste 2 full seasons for this crap to happen?? if so IM DONE and selling this game on ebay to at least get most of my money back.

I'm sure a fix would just break something else. This Dev team has really no idea it seems like they just try and see if something works and it breaks more stuff.

I've reached the point where NCAA 13 is pretty much unplayable....It freezes so much during gameplay....especially during passing....it's not even worth it.

I think I'm done buying NCAA football...I skipped Madden because they got rid of import draft class....and now they totally have ruined NCAA.

That's ok...I'll save the $120 I would spend each year on these titles.
