Great 2k, you can have Jay-Z and Michael Jordan, but remember it's always the LITTLE THINGS that are the most important in a basketball game..

So the folks over at 2K Sports assume everybody who plays the NBA 2K basketball franchise listens to Jay-Z? What about the minority of folks that don't listen to Jay-Z? How will you cater to that group? I really don't mind listening to Jay-Z but from an marketing aspect you are taking the overall consensus popularity here by getting one of the best rappers out there. You will gain some supporters, you will lose some supporters. Hopefully for 2K the margin for addition is better than the subtraction.

Hopefully this was made from an early build of the game because blake doesnt have his hair updated, durant look off, and for the love of god fix the jerseys already, im getting sea sick from all the waves their giving off. Movements look smoother but then again that can just be all the video magic applied.
2k12 is the only game i ever intentionally broke the disc for...was hard for me to not put it in my disc tray to end up feeling frustrated and undermined for the sake of new comers and broken gameplay..just hard for me to live with something i love being so provoking to me.
with that said it makes the anticipation of corrections and restorations even more so important to me that info like this just bounce off meaning nothing
i guess am not over the disappointment of 2k12 that 13 is going on an uphill to me....but until i see not hear of, but see or play 2k13 then all this is just time spent till then

I'm guessing this doesn't mean a dang thing other than maybe a Jay-Z song or 2 and his name will be featured on commercials, maybe in the game at a few places...etc.

Then again 2k probably used some of that Jay-Z money for the virtual arena alone.

Erm, is this supposed to get me hyped?
Fail.
Can we have some real announcements please? Some more gameplay footage? Hell, even some more articles? Last years media campaign was much better than this.

First, I'm kind of glad Jay Z is in the game and hopefully this means he (and his wife) will be courtside at the Nets' games. Maybe they could even add a new little cutscene where they show the celebrity fans celebrating and/or talk a little bit about them. Imagine Spike at the Garden or Nicholson at the Staples Center -- that would be hype and would add more to 2k replicating a television broadcast.
Another plus I noted was Durant's pullup looked silky smooth -- no hiccups between move and jumper. If thats actually finds itself into actual gameplay, guys with quick triggers like Carmelo should feel more authentic. Carmelo can rock 'em to sleep with that 'slow' dribble and then pull with no hiccups -- could be a thing of beauty.
