NBA 2K13 Brings Back Damon Bruce For the 3rd Straight Year as Halftime Host

San Francisco's NBR 1050 sports talk radio host Damon Bruce has confirmed via Twitter, he'll be returning for a third consecutive year as the halftime host for NBA 2K13, which arrives in stores on October 2nd.

Glad to hear it; he brings a lot to the table. I believe he does Bay Area stuff in real life, with the Warriors even?

I don't have a problem with him, I think he does a good job. I just want to see highlights from other games like nfl 2k5 did. It would be great for association, season and nba today.

He's a big hoops fan and after you listening to his interview last year I see why they picked him

He's really enthusiastic about nba basketball as a whole and knowledgeable beyond the gsw

Maybe they will expand his role this season? Possibly have him break in with some studio updates or maybe a weekly wrap up show?

Either way I enjoy him at halftime.

Good to hear hes been good the last two years. Hope they expand on his role this year. They did add the around the league bit into the Halftime Report last year would be nice for 2K to add something else to the Halftime Report.

How he knows the game is going to be "amazing" when he never saw it? 2K PR gimmicks, very cute

When the real stuff is going to be announced, like gameplay, online and other more important stuff? I think Ronnie 2K and the PR team are doing poor job in building the hype for the game.

Well obviously he isn't going to say, "this really is going to be a horrible game, don't buy it"

He's good... I actually like listening to the half-time show. Only thing that bothers me about it this year (2k12) is 2k didn't include any lines about the myplayer for him, which isn't his fault. Anyways... GOOD JOB keeping him.

Oh GOD, yes.

NBA2K finally needs to take a step in this direction in NBA Today mode, and season mode. This would be the next step in there presentation. But yeah I like Damon Bruce.

Glad to see him being brought back, the guy does an excellent job. I really like the halftime report, and I hope they expand on it but what I really wish they would do is make the association/my player halftime report as in depth as the NBA Today version because there is a noticeable difference in what is covered. NBA Today halftime report goes over monthly awards and such while the association mode only goes over what games are currently going on around the association or scheduled to go on, it's pretty basic versus the NBA Today versus.
