Does that mean that Be A GM is still in the game alongside GM Connected or is it a typo of some sort?

Sounds to me like you can build your own AI schemes? I can't see it being through the regular AI sliders though... Maybe by creating your own custom plays and strategies?

I'm pretty sure Be A GM and GM Connected are one in the same.

Likely just renamed to "GM Connected" and you can choose whether or not you want to play online.

To be clear, I doubt there's any chance that they would remove offline franchise.

They've added the ability to set different lines to different types of schemes/tendancies such as shoot first, cycle first, dump & chase or carry the puck tendacies etc. You can customize each 4 lines to do whatever you want that line to do. It's an extension of the simple AI settings you have in NHL 12 for instance of forecheck/breakout/etc. There's just a lot more options to make a more personalized AI experience for your team.

since most of the acheivements are online and be a pro, there is little chance they did anything to the offline be a gm mode to improve it much.
