4. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - Charlotte

Kidd-Gilchrist's strength lies on the defensive side of the ball as a rookie. He is a very good one-on-one defender while also being able to help off of his man and get steals and blocks that lead to the fast breaks and easy points for a team that desperately needs them. MKG should make everyone on Charlotte's defense a little better when he's on the floor.

As I've stated before, not all of his intangibles will easily carry over to 2K's rating system, so while he may have been the deserving No. 2 overall pick, he probably won't be the second most effective rookie in NBA 2K13.

That said, he should be able to finish at the rim on offense and rebound well for his position. He'll get every chance to be the face of the rebuilding effort in Charlotte.

Bobcats fans, are you anxious to use Kidd-Gilchrist in NBA 2K13?

As someone who was born in the Killa Coop (nickname for Camden's hospital), I'm rooting for MKG to succeed. Hopefully he doesn't spend too much time back home like Dajaun Wagner and takes advantage of this opportunity.

He's going to be one of the guys I will always look to acquire in my dynasty. I feel his intangibles would be perfect for a 6th man of the year type guy.

what is the point of top 5 rookies? I thought the guy creating the threads would post their 2K13 rating or something

As a 'Cats fan, I'm looking forward to having MKG. I think he has what it takes to possibly be the best player in the draft by the time they reach their potential. Nowhere to go but up and he will be the respectable and likeable face of the franchise moving forward.

Charlotte will be a nice Franchise/Assoc. team once again. Building Kidd-Gilchrist up to a star in the league could be fun.

Don't forget Damian Lillard, if the insider does his job he should be way more funny to use him than MKG
