NCAA Football 13 News Post

We have officially completed Version One of the OS (PS3) Community Rosters for NCAA 13.

What is included in Version One:
  • Correct player names, numbers, heights, weights, classes, redshirt status, and skin tones
  • Most players with/without dreadlocks have been updated
  • Transfers
  • Players dismissed from team have been removed
  • Correct coach names, alma maters, ages, and offensive run/pass percentages
  • Re-rated freshman and JUCOs to fit the scale of computer generated recruits in dynasty
  • Minor re-rates on some players

NOTE: THESE ROSTERS ARE FOR DYNASTY (ONLINE OR OFFLINE). THEY WILL NOT WORK FOR ONLINE MATCHES.

Thanks to the majority of you all for being patient with us and understanding that edits that are this in-depth take some time. Also, thank you to those of you who posted templates and updates on player information. You all make this process much easier for us.

These rosters are completely free. However, if you would like to make a donation for our countless hours of work you can do so at the following link:

Obviously if you have a 360 I'd advise going to the 360 threads for their respective offline links, I know that the process is a little bit more difficult given you know the basics of what apps you need, generally you need something like XTAF and Modio for the xbox, where as you only need a standard flash drive for the PS3.

Now they might've changed it, admittedly I haven't had much need to use USB saves on my xbox (neither on my PS3) but yeah, the Xbox guys are great and they are definitely better suited to answer those questions.

OS V3 Community Roster is the V3 roster. It isn't down, I just checked. Until the roster share is sorted out use a USB to transfer the files or whichever method you may use to get files from your PC to your PS3. I'll try to keep everyone updated if things clear up. The file is up on my PSN, I have tried re-uploading twice and confirmed it wouldn't install for people either time. One I get a chance to reformat a drive for the PS3 sometime this weekend I'll put step by step to get it to work.

If you have any questions please message me on here, I do not check my messages on 4shared (the site that hosts the offline file), and it's easier for me to answer a question fully on here rather than the PS3.

Hey, not sure if anyone else has figured it out yet but I had read a post on this website a few weeks back about how people were having trouble editing the rosters of the other users in online dynasty mode.

Obviously for anyone who has edited rosters in online dynasty mode knows that the commish can edit his teams roster at will, as well as the other cpu controlled teams by making edits and then advancing the week and saving it. The issue is that the commish can not edit the roster of the other users controlled teams, even if he advances the week and saves.

The answer to this solution is to simply have the user leave the dynasty and then edit their roster as if it were a cpu controlled team and advance the week as you normally would do so. The user can then sign back into the online dynasty and his team edits will be there. Best of all, the user can play their week and complete their recruiting (prior to the roster editing) and everything will remain saved for them until they sign back in.

I realize this thread may not be the correct spot to put this post but for some reason I was having trouble creating a new thread for it. If anyone would like to post this information elsewhere, feel free to do so. Hope this helps anyone who was having trouble with that issue.

This server issue is such a pain...

What am I doing wrong? I download the file, I extract from the .rar, place the content in my PS3 folder on my USB drive - connect and then when I go to data utility, nothing appears.

Thanks!

Hey guys,
I've read through a lot of these posts and I still have the same question- Where do I download (from net to flash drive) the file from? Where is the link?

Yes, I'm new to all of this...so your help is greatly appreciated!

Hey man, I downloaded the link you posted here and changed the name of the file to "PS3" and then the folder inside that to "SAVEDATA" and yet when I put the USB into my PS3 it still says there's no save data there. Am I missing something here? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you give me a step by step of how you did it? I downloaded the roster to my flash drive from 4 shared, but put my flash drive in my PS3 and look for the file it says no files are on my flash drive.

Do I have to reformat or name the file or file folder something special?
Do I need to delete something on the game/PS3 side?
Do I need to something else?

A little help, please, gents!

It's simple really, but be prepared to be confused. Here we go:

1) Put your USB into your computer and open it up to look at what's it in it.

2) Make a new folder called PS3

3) Within that folder, make a new one called SAVEDATA

4) Put your downloaded folder (I take it you've extracted it from RAR) into the SAVEDATA folder. You know, the folder that starts with BLU30498blahblahblah (it looks kinda like this, I can't remember specifically)

Now the problem I had was when I clicked on the BLU30... folder it had another folder inside called the same thing. You need to make sure that when you click on the BLU30... folder you see the 4 or 5 weird files straight away (these are the files which make up the save data). So you may need to move these files out temporarily so you can delete the duplicate folder that starts with BLU30... or whatever it's called. Pretty much it needs to work like this on your USB:

-PS3
--SAVEDATA
---BLU30498blahblahblah (the RAR file you downloaded and extracted)
---- the 4 or 5 files that make up the actual data

Then you put the USB stick in your PS3, go to Saved Data Utility and click on your USB stick. The NCAA 13 roster file should be there. If nothing is there, the folders aren't arranged properly. If it says corrupted data, don't panic it just means you didn't delete that duplicate folder.

Hope this helps, sounds more confusing than it really is!

Hi guys, obviously with the roster share down I, like plenty of others I imagine, am turning to offline files for help! Quick question though, I tried the link on the first page of this post and on the 4share website it said that it has been deleted. Anyone know what the deal is with that? Thanks in advance!

Can you fix that?
