Does Activision know how greedy they are?

Maybe if this was included for free, the $15 price tag would look much more handsome. Even still, I can't trust how much THPS 3 content there will actually be in the game. Los Angeles level or GTFO.

How about I just go pay $5 for the actual THPS3 game?

Exactly. This should have been included with the $15 game, or like I suggested the game should have been $10 and I would have then gladly paid $5 more for these levels. Greedy, greedy, greedy.

Any particular reason it can't be released for free, then?

Because it costs money to remake?

Recall your PSX/PS2 days, and think about how ridiculous it would be if any game that you had was missing one of its bigger features or 30% of its content. Now think about paying that much more for the game's missing content.

I'm sure the THPS3 stuff is already made and ready to be put in the game. Activision, meanwhile, uses this as a cash grab and a way to keep the game fresh, as you said. I don't mind the latter, but I mind the former. Many people will be turned off and not pay for it. Better yet, there might be people like me who might be turned off from the entire package simply because of their greediness. Not in a sense of rebellion, but in a sense of asking "Why am I not having this for less?"

You're acting like it's only Activison that does this? DLC is planned out months before launch of just about every game. Some finished long before the title ships, and just held back to charge more later. Been going on for years.

Do you think map packs for all these shooters are created after it ships? No. Not saying all DLC is like that, but it's at least thought out before shipping.

DLC has changed gaming for better/worse, however you want to look at it, but it's here to stay and will probably only get worse.

I fully understand that. This game, however, is old. Yes, they've given it the HD glorification treatment. That's it, though. Why do they feel we owe them so much for it? That's all I'm saying.

Believe me, I gripe just as much with other games and their DLC as well. I'm just always reminded when it's Activision, though.

Airport, LA, and Canada confirmed for THPS3 DLC

Well, it's good they included LA at least. The bottom of the airport level also had some pretty cool pipes as well.

Will it include the features that were in THPS3 as well? Like extended kickflip options, more special moves (specifically the Mullen flatland specials), etc? Because $5 would still be a bit of a handful for just three levels.

I think so - the IGN video preview definitely mentioned the revert was being included.

I feel like that was THPS4, but I can't remember exactly.
