Return Florida State to their rightful place at the top of college football.

Each year, I try to compile a list of the best destinations to play dynasty mode depending on what kind of a fit you are after. I typically don't publish this list, but I figured it'd be a fun one to publish this year as I try to figure out what destination I want to go to. Here it is:

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Florida State. It's all there for the taking in Tallahassee.

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: LSU. If you want a challenge, LSU would be a good one since they reside in a state that isn't one of the top three hotbeds for recruiting in game like Texas/Florida/California are but rather it's in the second tier of states, so it's a bit more challenging.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: Colorado State. The Rams used to be really good back in the prior decade or two, and held the reigns as a premier mid-major program. It's time they return there.

The Impossible Dynasty: Western Kentucky. There isn't much to say about WKU, the recruiting isn't good - the team is bad. It's going to be a challenge for sure.

The New Guy Dynasty: UTSA. For a couple of reasons, the Roadrunner is a much cooler mascot than a Bobcat (Texas State) and you play in the Alamo Dome. Cool right?

The New BCS Power Dynasty: California. Let's face it, things aren't rosy in Berkely, but they have been and can be. It's time to make the Bears a traditional power.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: Central Michigan. The Chippewas are a cool bunch and feature the best fit out of the two conferences which I really have the least amount of care for in the Nation.

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty: Notre Dame. Why? Because the rise of video games have brought upon nothing fruitful for the Irish. They're independent and their schedule this year is a bit of a bear. Give 'em a try.

So what about you? What are your top dynasty destinations for NCAA 13?

Nah, Tennessee's just fine where there are now missing bowl games and losing to Kentucky.

Whoever has the lowest overall rating is who I'll be starting off with. Maybe Eastern Michigan.

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Tennessee. Bring back some thunder to the Volunteers.

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: Stanford. Trying to move on without Luck will by tough. Maybe you can help ease his loss.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: SMU. Nice recruiting, nice uniforms, and nice offensive base to work with.

The Impossible Dynasty: New Mexico. Been bad the last couple of years. Pretty much a FCS team in terms of talent. New uniforms in teambuilder look nice.

The New Guy Dynasty: UTSA. Only one of the new guys with a unique stadium. Weak schedule, good coach, and good Texas recruiting.

The New BCS Power Dynasty: Washington St. You have the Mike Leach offense with a couple of solid guys at QB and WR.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: Ohio. Best team in the weak MAC and some of the better BFBS uniforms.

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty: Colorado. Let's bring back some of the early 90's good times.

i always start out using Kentucky then try to bring Florida state or Miami back to glory and when i get bored with those ill take a small school and play till i get them to 6 star level

In previous years, I have taken over Idaho, Colorado State and Iowa State and each of those was a nice challenge to build them into a contender.

But now with the ability to change conferences each year (that is still available this year, correct? sorry, I missed last years version while deployed), I am going back to Army and will place them in a mid level conference and once I win the conference a couple of times, I will switch to a more difficult conference.

I am planning on starting with a UTSA dynasty; but work first as DC at Texas State and waiting for the UTSA job to open up.

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Army, Navy, SMU, BYU, Notre Dame

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: This topic is lame to me, because its no fun to start off as a Top-5 team. Here are some other close to powerhouses. Florida (they've struggled since Tebow left, and have been passed by a bunch of SEC teams) OK State, Auburn, Wisconsin.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: Memphis, Tulane, North Texas, SDSU, Hawaii, UNLV.

The Impossible Dynasty: UMASS, Eastern Michigan, New Mexico State, Vandy, Ole Miss, Duke.

The New Guy Dynasty: UTSA and UMASS seem like fun.

The New BCS Power Dynasty: So many to pick from here. Lousiville, USF, Cincy, WVU, TCU, Baylor, Mizzou, A&M, Illinois, Colorado, Cal, Washington, Wash State, Arizona State, Utah, Clemson, Maryland.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: There is always a new MAC team every couple years who emerges as a top-25 team. I like Bowling Green for whatever reason.

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty: Notre Dame, Army, Navy, SMU.

Texas state fans will hate you forever, don't forget about that I-35 rivalry.

You guys are right about Louisiana in real life but in the game how are the in-state recruits compared to the other big states? I've never really checked I always play as SDSU

LA is loaded. The Gulf Coast states are full of good recruits.

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Miami. They were good in the early 2000's and they've always been fun to play with. Good recruiting pipeline and i like the jerseys as well.

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: Michigan. Mostly because I'll be going there in the fall.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: San Diego St. They are pretty decent already and have always sparked my interest. Recruiting in Cali leaves plenty of opportunity

The Impossible Dynasty: Eastern Michigan. Hands down one of the worst teams in the game each and every year.

The New Guy Dynasty: UMASS. Not really a texas fan and Umass sounds like a fun challenge.

The New BCS Power Dynasty: Clemson. I had a good feeling about them last year and they surpassed my expectations. Unfortunately they finished the year poorly.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: Western Michigan. Grew up 20 miles away, so there's a strong connection

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty: SMU. their history is very intriguing.

I'm bringing Georgia Tech back to the Heisman, Dodd and Alexander days. One of the most historical teams in NCAA but have dropped almost out of relevance.

Then I'm going to build up San Jose State like I have the last few years.

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Tennessee. The first college team I ever followed.

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: OU. The school I went to.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: Tulsa. Want them to be the "Miami" of the 90's Florida schools trio to OU and OSU present day.

The Impossible Dynasty: Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Lived in Lafayette when they were simply USL. Moved only a few years before the Jake Delhomme era.

The New Guy Dynasty: Texas State. Guy I went to high school with was their D-coordinator back in 2005ish.

The New BCS Power Dynasty: Wazzu. Mike Leach.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: Ball State. If Brady Hoke can do it, so can I.

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty: Navy. Love running the triple option, and always root for the academies to succeed.

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Penn State. Proud, strong program in the 70's and 80's. Joe Pa got a little older, the competition got a little more stiff, and now their toxic.

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: Florida. Fallen off recently a bit, but sitting on a powder keg of recruiting and a stadium/fan base to die for.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: UMass. For me, the Boise State story is of a program who took the step up to the big time and did something unprecedented. This year, you have the opportunity to do that with a program in a region not considered a recruiting haven.

The Impossible Dynasty: North Texas. You're in a state populated with a ridiculous amount of other teams and recruiting is a nightmare as a result.

The New Guy Dynasty: To me, Texas State is the program to roll with here. Saddened a bit by the generic stadium, but the uniforms are gorgeous.

The New BCS Power Dynasty: Minnesota. New stadium. Solid uniforms with a recent remodel... a little history, but never a legitimate powerhouse. You could really do something special here.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: Buffalo. New unis, decent stadium to play in, and really are the outsider now as far as teams in the MAC.

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty:Chicago? They were one of the powerhouse franchises of the Big10 before World War 2, when they dismantled their athletic program. They currently have a team at the D2 level, but with the help of Teambuilder, you can make a pretty accurate representation, bottom out the roster, and bring em' back to one of the big dogs of the Big 10

The Return to Glory Dynasty: Tennessee. Great Facilities, Great Tradition, Great Stadium

Manage a Powerhouse Dynasty: Oregon. I LOVE MY DUCKS. Awesome uniforms, Awesome stadium. 3 Pac-10/12 Championships, 3 BCS Bowls, 3 Years.

The 'Become the Next Boise' Dynasty: Hawaii, FIU, ECU, Cool teams, Ready to become future powerhouses.

The Impossible Dynasty: EMU. Seriously, the only thing they have going for them is a bad conference (doesn't help in recruiting) Had an alright year last year though.

The New Guy Dynasty: UMASS. My team in the East Coast.

The New BCS Power Dynasty: Kentucky. SEC. 'nuff said.

The WACky MAC Dynasty: Buffalo. New York team. Cool new uniforms.

The Make A Basketball School a Football One Dynasty: Memphis, Kentucky, Syracuse, Duke, UNC,

Finally, the We Were Good Before Games Were Invented Dynasty: BYU. Beautiful Stadium Backdrop. The mountains are just so nice, all my neutral game sights are there

I always do a dynasty with Florida State but things tend to get way too easy and uninteresting in a hurry.

I will probably try out one of the three new FBS schools or a teambuilder team once rosters come out and I get bored of dominating the ACC.

# 37 ComebackDylan @ 06/30/12 07:20 PM
I'm doing one with SMU for sure now.

Except I plan on phasing out the spread and go back to running like they used to. should take a few years and be way fun recruiting wise

NICE
