Not going to happen, especially when they are bad about refunding reserves.

Best Buy doesn't even show in system and so forth.
You can reserve the "Dynasty Edition" and regular copy of NBA 2K13 online here - http://2kgam.es/BuyNBA2K13

When I saw this I was like OYAH, but then I read the features.

I don't need a ball or NBA2k gear, c'mon now. Sadly this is kind of a gimmick. I would pay 100 bucks for a little bit more content, though.

I wish they had an offline edition with a crazy amount of content and an online edition that was balanced for that. I'd be buying both. heh.

OH 2K, you are always doing something off-the-wall.

It seems like they want to do something cool.

So if we don't get the Dynasty edition we have to pay for All-star weekend? Man, developers just snaking money out of customers now by taking away traditional game features. At least give us a respectable street mode...

No, all you have to do is pre-order to get ASW for free

But I will be one of the many who will not pre-order it. I will wait for the game to come out and probably pick it up once the season start or once Christmas rolls around...or a price drop. My main concern is the fact that they label these features as "free with pre-order!" when years ago it was a common game mode. Even street is bland now... I want to be able to finish a sim quick game on 2K and go onto the blacktop (or old Street mode) and pick my setting / court and play an all out arcade version like back in 2K4 and 2k5.

EDIT: I also recall when SEGA was all over this game it was $30 max

So first your issue was "if we don't get the Dynasty edition we have to pay for All-star weekend"... exposedaking told you that all you have to do is pre-order to get ASW free.
Then you're issue was, "Still, we have to pay for ASW."... exposedaking, again, clarified that it's free with a pre-order.
Then you came up with another complaint; that you won't pre-order it... you will wait until Christmas. Sorry, but that's on you. Dont' put that on the 2K team. Seems like you're fishing for complaints.

It's labelled as a BONUS for pre-orders. There's a reason for that. Don't even try to compare today's era of games to yesteryears. It's a different landscape. Games drop in price so fast today. Even YOU admitted that you will wait for a price drop. 2K needs to make money, and make as much as they can. The ASW is an added incentive for people to buy the game early-on, at the $59.99 price point. I was planning to wait a week or two, but I want the ASW Bonus, so I think I'm going to deposit $5 for a pre-order. See how that works?

And regarding the $30 price point.... they had major competition back then and were the underdogs.
Seems like your mindset is stuck in the "good ol days". I miss those days also, but the landscape has change since the years you refer to. It's like that old man on the park bench complaining about how he remembers a pack of bubble gum used to cost a nickel. Times have changed. And business models have changed to reflect the times.
