A slower pace + individual team styles has me excited. I wish they would just open up the editing slots so folks could make complete 2nd tiers/divisions.

While that WENB site has zero credibility, CVG has seen reason to be optimistic about this year's game, awarding it best sports title at E3.

Very excited about that shooting info, by far my biggest issue with this series for years now. But is there going to be a true manual control option ala FIFA, or will we still have to hold a modifier button down while playing in order to "activate" manual controls? Critical question for me which will probably determine whether I buy this game.

My mistake then, sorry. Funny and very true line in that article:

Calling it the best perhaps implied it's now ahead of its nemesis FIFA, which would be too big a call to make this early, but under new creative management Konami's series is certainly the most improved. (About time too, frankly.)
