Tebowing is NOT the act of going down on one knee and praying. The media made that up.
Tebowing was an internet thing that originally meant going down on one knee and praying when everybody else is doing something completely unrelated. This is because Tebow goes down to one knee on the sidelines or after a win when everybody else is doing something entirely different.
Example when everybody is celebrating and watching carefully while standing, and Tebow is on one knee which makes him stick out.

What is Tebowing?
(vb) to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different.
Also, "tebowing" on the field durring play is technically a penalty. Going to the ground for a celebration.
Tebowing should be part of a tension moment in the game or when it's over. Not in-game.
In Madden 11, if the game was on the line in he final 2min there was good cut scene where players from the opposing offense were holding hands waiting to see what would happen. Instead of removing it [is it in 12? I haven't seen it,] EA should have added like 8 other similar cut scenes to add variety so it doesn't look so canned... then have them lay at random and check each one off a list if it has been played this game so it isn't played again.
That is part of EA's problem. Good ideas, nice features, but no variety or depth. Just unfinished ideas that later get removed.
I haven't seen the Philly cheese stake animation from Madden 11 intro to an Eagles game in Madden 12. Where did it go? It doesn't have to be an intro. It could be a broadcast transition between quarter coming back from commercial break like MNF does.
I could go on for hours [and did at CD two years ago] about all of these little things. Madden could be so much better and it isn't even that hard to do it. Buildon what you have and quit throwing things away!
Also, it's been a while since I played with Tebow, but isn't the flex in Madden 12? I could swear I have seen Frank Gore do a flex when I score sometimes.
Man, that would cruel to sack Tebow and then your DE does his celebration
Something I miss about Madden 09 was the "steal your thunder" when you pressed Y/Triangle in the end zone to choose your celebration and the game would select a signature celebration from the other team. I would do that all the time online.
A fond memory was taking a Pick 6 back with former Eagle SS Michael Lewis against the Eagles in Philly and holding Y and watching him do the Flap Flap.

Clay Matthews does this "flex" all the time in Madden 12, not sure about Tebow's being in Madden 12.

I'm gonna stop before I get mad.
I think someone mentioned this before, but going down on one knee and praying (which is what "Tebowing" is) is not illegal in the NFL. That is the exception the NFL has, you are allowed to pray.
So true. He would get flagged for going to the knee. I'm already getting tired of this Tebow stuff. EA, if you're going to added second string qb celebrations, at least, do it right, lol. Authenticity!!!
you can go to one knee. If both knees hit the ground it is a flag
