Man they just really love showing off the new and improved goalies on that penalty shot . I hope so bad that they just tuned the goalie that way for the trailer and that they don't get that faked out from that high up in the slot. It's quite possibly the worst animation from the goalies in the game. I can understand it if the guy is a little above the top of the crease and the goalie bites, but from that high up it's just silly. They did say there aren't any more animation saves so hopefully that holds true.

Again: players models, arenas etc... straight from NHL 07. I hope that they have atleast done some changes for the presentation.

New skating engine sure is nice but i'm afraid that i will get bored again very fast. I just want a game that actually feels fresh and new. So far it does not look like it.

I actually kind of like the "clay molds". I find some sports games try to get too authentic and it ends up looking worse. The current Gen technology cannot make 100% accurate models so why try. Find something that works and make that look as best as it can. Which is what I think NHL does.
