As a lions fan im glad he got the cover but they could have done a much better with this cover

That does not look good with a 360 box. Shades of bright green, purple Kinect, and now Lions blue? Not a great match aesthetically. Probably look better as a PS3 box art.

Photo itself - I like the idea of an "action" shot of him looking for the ball, but something looks off about it.

Big duh.

A lot of fuss has been made of the new Nike partnership and I can only assume the NFL urged EA to incorporate mention of it in the game as much as possible.

Mark Ingram had the Alabama gloves on the cover of NCAA Football 12 and we did not see them in the game...

Don't forget Madden 07 and 08. The uniforms S.Alexander and V.Young were wearing weren't in the game.

In other words, if it's on the cover, it's not in the game.

I have to agree that the colors of the box just hurt the eyes. I do like how a city like Detroit is getting some love though. The shot is a great concept but it just looks off and the colors make it worse.
