Well...

Definitely not getting the game from GS then. Heisman mode? No thank you

Probably will be going the amazon route, specially if they throw in the $20 credit like last yr.

Well I guess i'll go the amazon route for the pro combats becasue there is no way that ea wil put them in later smh

Yup going to have to go with Amazon... No midnight release then I guess

# 5 Team UGA @ 04/03/12 01:03 AM
btw, I am guessing they mean Michigan St. in the pic since Michigan uses Adidas.

This annoys me, its my understanding that they won't add the uniforms for purchase later, even if they say so, I assume the Heisman Challenges will be DLC though so I could go without those, basically I'm going to have to miss out on the midnight release party (unless Gamestop hands out the code in a way where I wouldn't have to open the box in which I could got to the midnight release then return it, either way I'd have to wait until the game was delivered in the afternoon to finally play it).

At least in the past the no-brainer was Gamestop, Amazon had some cost deals, and other places offered unnecessary DLC (5-star QB etc.), the only place where you got actual game content was GS. Now there are 2 sources with actual game content, but the one without the midnight release party and immediate access to the game will have the DLC that is likely to be unobtainable down the road.

Wait OK State didn't have a Pro Combat, those were their new uniforms, which of the pieces are we going to be deprived of if we don't get that DLC?

I suppose I'm going to buy through Amazon for the first time then.

How reliable is Amazon with regard to shipping video games reliably on release day? I've never gone this route before.

Never had a problem with them, got it from there last yr and got it on release day.

Amazon for me!!! I'm glad I have Prime

# 11 bigdoc85 @ 04/03/12 04:34 AM
If you have Amazon Prime, you will definitely get it on the day of release. Might be late afternoon / early evening but it will arrive.

This uniform **** is old and makes no ****ing sense. Just give us the uniforms.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what does "5 Star Quarterback" mean for the Best Buy pre-order? That doesn't really provide a lot of detail. I could have missed something, though.

I was wondering wth this was too. Considering I can create my own 5 star QB, or 10 of my own 5 star qbs, not really seeing the incentive.

It's for Road To Glory. You can start out as a 5* without having to get the stats of a 5*.

Then that's easily the worst of the bunch.

Only way I'm buying on release this year is if Amazon does the $20 credit like they did for Madden last year.

I'm done handing EA Sports $59.99 unless the gameplay is overhauled, but I'll shell out $39.99 because I'm a junkie

Of the 3, Amazon has the best offer, although it drives me nuts that those uniforms aren't just included in the game ... or at least available at a later date for purchase/download.
