Man I hope they have one nice roster update planned after the trade deadline. After looking at the video, how can you call this an update? You have guys still on rosters who are no longer with the team, and guys on teams who are not in the game yet. The only thing I noticed was Pekovic ratings increase from the video. Where are Sloan and Thomas on the Hornets, you end up with Gordon or Landry in the rotation because of this and they both are injured.
nba live 13 cant come fast enough! these failed roster updates have turned me away along with other things!

As it was stated prior , this is a waste of a roster update. Why not skip this and work more on that Shoe , Accesory , and hair update for all the players that we heard about almost 2 months ago. Nothing has changed.
Typically I dont say thing like "I could do it better myself" but seriously...

It would be cool for a 2K rep to come in & drop a line. Waiting for a big update after the trading deadline? Rosters on the back burner while working on a patch? Should we not hold our breath?
I think Jose Calderon got a small ratings boost. He's now in the low 70's. He use to be in the high 60's.

This is just sad, but expected though.

I guess it's safe to say they didn't update any player models right?

It took me longer to read this thread than it would take me to manually do the changes that this roster update did.
Updates i noticed: Tyreke Evans and Demarcus Cousins got upgrades. Cousins went from a 71 to a 78, very nice. Also Ibaka got a huge upgrage, and Pekovic jumped almost 20 overall points. Overall a nice update. Anyone complaining about Novak needs to realize that all he does is shoot 3's. his 3pt rating is high, other than that what does he does to deserve a higher rating?

-smh-
These little updates where they pick a few "players of the week" need to stop. JR Smith? Really? He's played FOUR GAMES and you already change his rating. Of all the players that have proven they are under/overrated for weeks, that's the one who deserves attention.
There is a lot of ratings that need to be changed. Let's address this in a different way .... here are the the ingame rankings according to their rating system
Hear is what is happening in real life based on season stats
and here is the difference with the biggest offenders marked in bold
Obviously factors this doesn't factor in Injuries (Spurs, Hawks, Grizz, Nets) and recent acquisitions (Knicks), but here are the mass rating changes that might want to take a closer look at
I would also say the Nuggets need to be looked at since they've been plagued with injures, and are still rated in the same ball park with slightly better D.
I know I am just looking at the surface and there are some things I overlooked, but this updating the "players of the month" approach isn't working when at least a good 20% of the roster needs to be updated.

- Hawks Defense (too low)

- Mavericks Offense (too high)
- Pistons Offense (way too high)

- Clippers Defense (too high)
- Timberwolves Defense (too low)
- Nets Offense - (too low)
- Magic Offense - (too high)
- 76ers Offense - (too high) - although Hawes injury might have an impact
