What happens if one of the players from the Cardinals whose picture is on the wall is traded? Will his picture still be left out on the wall?

In real life:
Furcal will be #15
Beltran will most likely be #3 based on spring training photos...

But not a big deal, we'll probably be able to change #'s... right??

And this video blew me away considering the teams featured in it... it just so happens I will be attending not one but TWO Cards vs Cubs games in STL this year, April 14 (WS Ring Ceremony game) and July 22... YAY!
I'm guessing it will be fixed in an official roster update too.

In the game, yes.
In real life it most likely will the same week they will take it out

I meant if he is traded in the game. Say the Cards decide to unload Molina, Will his picture stay on the wall?

I think he means the green wall there on the field not on the bleachers or where ever

In real life it is Hall of Famers on the Left Field wall. I'm just curious if there is a way for the game to update itself if one of the players whose picture is on the wall in the Show get traded?

Only getting into the bottom of the first inning for this video, but I just want to say how proud I am of my friend Danny Descalso for getting as far as he has. It's been nearly ten years since I've played on a same team as him as he's two years older than me, but man... you get far enough, and you earn your strides into a video game. That must be so amazing for him!

The game looks amazing. Can't wait for March 6th and MLB 12 The Show on PS3.

I could nit pick, pick it apart and pick things i don't like.

But why do that? its the same Show we all know and love and
it stands as the only game worth owning a PS3 for.

As usual.

Visuals and gameplay are top notch.

However it's probably the least upgrade in years.

MLB 11 did and offered so much right that going to MLB 12 had to be transitionary not revolutionary to solidify good gaming again.

I DO expect this next year though.

1)Baggier uniforms
2)Adjustable fielding camera
3)More real sponsors and no more Hotdogstand generics ones (like in the Tigers vid)
4)Better pitching animations
5)branded accessories and shoes

No and it really doesn't matter in the slightest.

Cubs shoes are still gray though.

Just because it doesn't matter to you doesn't mean it doesn't matter to someone else. I'm just asking because say in Year 1 of franchise Molina or someone else on the wall gets traded, why would I want to see their picture along side other Cards players. I just think it looks awesome NOW but in year 2 of franchise the wall could be obsolete.

Thanks for sharing the video!

Love this! Castro's white sleeve looks awesome.

Am I the only person who doesn't want branded accessories? I mean I know it adds to the realism, but theres something about the simplicity of no brands thats nice and helps separate this game from the crap put out by EA and 2k.

Loving the gameplay improvements. The ball physics really showed. The ball off the bat still sounds a little odd at times but wow... this game could be historic.

I've never brought it up before, but after seeing this over several iterations of "The Show", I have to mention it. Why do the pitchers stand on top of the pitching rubber? Yeah, its a nitpick, but they should be in front of it.

The bat sounds weird because they recorded the bat sounds in a (presumably) empty minor league stadium. The sound that results is much more up close and personal with an echo, like you are watching batting practice.

Doesn't make much sense considering they are otherwise going for a TV broadcast feel. Of course it's going to sound different in that context. That's like me trying to record the sound of a firework exploding and doing it in my bedroom instead of outside.

It's not a big deal though and isn't consistently weird. The new glove sounds are much more accurate, IMO.

Things I like:

The sound of the bat.
The longer bills on hats (and Dempster's more curved bill).
The cut-scenes.

Things I don't like:

The outfield wall in Busch. What about when those players get traded in franchise mode. Kind of silly.
The lack of improvements in the announcers.
